"Love it here. Although you don’t have the option for ocean front view you do have a partial view and everything else makes up for it. The lounge area with prime ocean views is quaint, comfy, and perfect for snacks, a cocktail, or to relax. Mornings you’re greeted with picnic basket with pastries and hot coffee and mimosas. Beds are comfortable and all the Aesop bath products are lovely. Definitely coming back!"

"Couldn't use the TV . Not Apple device users, so with the exception of news programs, our watching experience was very limited. We enjoyed our stay. It was very convenient to all the actvities we were interested in. We would stay again at the Black Swan. "

"Really lovely property next to Historic Craigdarroch Castle and within walking distance to the beautiful gardens of the Government House. My room was on the top floor and was quiet and very clean. My only complaint was that the mattress and pillows could be upgraded. It was very convenient having communal kitchen facilities available for guest to use. I would definitely consider staying here again. "

Bed and pillows were very comfortable and being privately owned and not by a big corporation was even better. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. "

"We were very disappointed this time to see the condition of the hotel with plastic tarp on the roof. Very old now need some updating. And the front office so sad to see that it has turned into shelves of books instead of the sweet little breakfast nook at once was."

"John was an amazing host at the villa. He helped us find some great places for food and drink that were less touristy, and was great to visit with during happy hour. Our room was pretty small and was in need of some minor repairs, but was great as a place to sleep and shower. We would stay there again, but would request a king size bed instead of a twin and full size."

"The bed was very comfortable. The building is very old, but it was clean. There was not a coffee pot in the room, but there was at the front desk. I liked that the windows faced the patio, but you could close the shutters and make the room very dark if you wanted to sleep in. There was a ceiling fan and the AC cooled the room very well, which was nice since it was hot outside. We only had one minor problem, and that was that the sink sprung a minor leak the morning we left that I had to...
