Riverside Location
The property was advertised and warm on chilly mornings. The walk into town takes about 30mins along a canal and is very pleasant. A good spot for a short break.

Great Location
Perfect location to accommodate 4 adults. Many services available within walking distance. Outdoor balcony on the upper level and patio on the ground level. Quiet neighbourhood. Property owner was very responsive and great to deal with. Highly recommend.

Perfect getaway!
Brilliant place; Mike the perfect host, quick to respond and couldn't have been more helpful. Ideal location, nicely presented, very comfortable beds, clean, orderly. The balcony overlooking the river was very pleasant in the evening and things like the record player a nice touch! Loved staying here and would definitely consider again in future!

Fabulous location
This is our second stay at this property. Although all rooms are very good, we spend the majority of our time sitting on the large balcony watching the river activities directly opposite. The location is very good with plenty of restaurants and pubs within walking distance if you don't feel like cooking. Looking forward to hopefully coming back next year.

The property was clean and tidy. We were given loads of information for getting there really easy to find. Location was fabulous right on river. Lovely walk along the canal into city centre took us about 30 minutes. Proximity to football ground was really good just a 10 minute walk. Great stay would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful townhouse near town center!
The location of the townhouse was great. We could easily get the bus into town. Waking up to the river Trent behind the property was a special treat. We enjoyed a cup of coffee each morning on the upper deck. The house was clean and well furnished. We were very comfortable. Thank you for an easy check in and a great stay!

Best location in Nottingham I could possibly imagine!
I was born nearby and this was a return visit after many years. The development itself is new to me, but is so brilliantly situated I still can’t believe my luck that my husband found it! The views from the back of the house over The Trent River were quite simply stunning. I could see Nottm Forest City Ground completely and it was lit up at night, visible across the river almost directly from our bedroom! perfection! Also, I could see all the rowing clubs directly across from the house. I used to spend many happy hours there as a teenager! The houses are between 2 bridges so easy access to the other bank. The Victoria Embankment - house side - is still wonderful and we walked along it several times in glorious sunshine! As a Notts County supporter, I was able to walk to the match in 5 minutes! I could see both Forest and County at the same time. For a footie fan, this is Nivarna!!!!! Leaving this house was a really sad moment for me as this stretch of the Trent is very special to me having grown up with it as a constant part of my early life. The estate is very quiet and peaceful with easy access and very nice neighbours too. My husband is very familiar with Notts too, and was equally impressed with the location and all the facilities nearby. West Bridgford is really lovely with excellent shops on Melton Road. lucky residents! So much of Nottingham has been ruined by developments and demolitions! This small estate is a little bit of peace and quiet with the continuity of the river and the clubs still in the same places. Missing it all now. Thank you Mike for your lovely home. Meant such a lot to me personally.

Lovely location
This was one of the nicest urban stays I've had in a while - most of the other ones have been obvious rentals and have felt barren, whilst this place had a lovely warm feel. The location, on the river and just a walk into town was exceptional. Top tip, though, read the directions you are sent. My friend arrived before me and had problems with the lock. Totally our fault and could have been avoided if she had read through the information the host sent. He was really nice about the extra hassel involved in dealing with it though.

Nice property in an excellent location on the river, much better for children than staying in an Hotel. Unfortunately as we were in Nottingham for a family wedding, didn't get to see much of the area so perhaps we will be back.

Wonderful house in beautiful location
Lovely well presented house. Fantastic location, far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close to local pubs and shops. Beautiful walk along the river and canal to the centre. Nottingham itself is a great place to visit, especially for historical places. Lots to see within an hour or so drive. Mike is a welcoming host and it was lovely to meet him, Hope to revisit next year and explore more.

The balcony is the standout for ud
This is our first booking with VRBO. From the start of our booking process the communication has been excellent. Our host has kept us informed all the way through and has been excellent in catering for our needs. The accommodation is everything you could ask for and more. I have to rave about the balcony. Upstairs, stretching across the length of the property, it directly overlooks the River Trent. There was a dragon boat race weekend on which we would have been happy to sit and watch and cancel our original plans. The property is within walking distance of local shops and some lovely riverside pubs. I'm more than happy to recommend this property both for the actual property and it's location. Thank you for having us.

Perfect place to base ourselves for a family wedding
This property was great for our short stay. Great location for a night out for our son's birthday and base for a family wedding at Holme Pierrepont Hall.

Happy home!
This lovely house is a great bolt hole for a trip to Nottingham. Owner could not have been more helpful. House was spotless and charming. Great pubs witching throwing distance and walk to centre not far at all. Overall a wonderful retreat! Will be booking again. Super comfy beds too!!!

Superb house on the river
We rented this as a base for the family for my daughter's wedding. It was exactly what we needed and in an excellent location. We even got to go to the T20 cricket.

This property was,more than we could have expected! The location is fantastic with West Bridgford main shopping area/restaurants a 15 minute stroll away. Weather permitting, its a 40 minute walk into Nottingham City centre. House was a very comfortable base for our needs. Would definitely stay again. A little cool to use the patio/balcony - but we did have a cheeky glass of red out there on the last night (just because we could!) Thanks Mike

Nice Riverside Townhouse
The townhouse felt really homely and it is perfect for our small family. The views from the balcony were breathtaking and our kid loved watching the boats sail by. The evening walks along the river were also lovely. Mike was extremely accomodating and made sure we were okay during our stay here. We would definitely recommend this place. Thumbs up!!

Lovely property with great river views, perfect in the morning watching river life whilst enjoying a good brew. Great location (especially if you're a cricket fan as we are) with easy access to the city centre on the very frequent buses. Would definitely stay here again.

Arrived later at the property than expected, entry via the locked key holder was easier than picking up key from elsewhere or having someone wait for us to arrive, house was beautiful, decorated lovely. I chose this property for the location, being close to Nottingham water sports centre. The pub over the bridge the Waters Edge, I can highly recommend, food freshly cooked and reasonably priced and big portions. Instructions sent by Mike were excellent, very easy to understand, nothing was too much trouble and he replied very promptly. Would definitely recommend and look forward to booking again. Thanks

Delightful Riverside House (2nd Visit)

Delightful Riverside House
Mike’s home is perfect for a small family, it has a very homely feel to the place and is perfectly located near West Bridgford Avenue and Nottingham City Centre. It’s just a short 10min walk to the bars, cafes and restaurants of West Bridgford and an easy 15-20min walk into the City Centre. When we stayed it was beautiful weather and it was lovely to be able to enjoy a coffee on the balcony whilst watching the world go by…. We will most certainly be back - it’s just a shame it was booked up as we wanted to stay for longer!! Thank you Mike for hosting us :)

Family weekend away
This is a superbly homely property in a fantastic location right on the river. Immaculate with quick and easy access by car to Holme Pierrepoint and the Country park. Alternatively a lovely walk along the river. Equipped with everything as if your own home - made our stay very relaxing which is just what I needed before doing the Outlaw Triathlon! Would definitely stay again - thank you.

River town house
The town house is situated in a quiet cul de sac on the outskirts of Nottingham in a good neighbourhood. The view from the house is great and faces Nottingham Forest Football Ground and the Rowing Club. You can walk along the river which joins up with the end of the canal and walk along the tow path into Nottingham which takes about 40 mins. The town house has a double drive directly outside the property and inside there is plenty of space for a family. The bathroom does tend to steam up and could do with an extractor, could also do with one or two new pillows and lighter weight duvets for Summer. Overall it was a good place to stay while we were visiting family and I would stay again as it was comfortable and a good location.

Wonderful location by the River Trent
Mike’s house had everything we needed to make our stay really comfortable. We especially loved the outside spaces - super relaxing and peaceful - and of course the view of the river. We will miss waking up to the distant sound of geese in the morning! We had a brilliant week exploring Nottingham - reached by a walk along the nearby canal, along the Trent and also out in the Derbyshire Dales. We highly recommend staying here.

Home away from home
Mike has been such an accommodating host for our longer term stay and the house has really felt like our home! The views are amazing of the river, especially in the snow. The house is well furnished with everything we need, couldn't fault the property. We would definitely recommend to anyone and would like to come and stay post lockdown too, can imagine the balcony would be lovely in the summer.

Amazing place to stay
Well, what can I say, michaels place is the perfect location, amazing views, very clean, everything you need, most top place I’ve stayed in. Michael was more that accommodating and even making sure everything was ok by coming to see us the following day of being there. Would definately recommend Michaels place, being right on the river Trent also makes this place special. I would definately book again to stay when going to see my family and would recommend to everyone as one of my top place to stay Thank you
