" Sent from my iPhone Begin forwarded message: This is a lovely hotel in Hastings. The location is perfect - right on the seafront, but set back which reduces the noise from the road and walking distance to the old Town. It is a classic Georgian building and beautifully refurbished with lovely large comfortable rooms, complete with fridge and large screen tv. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We have stayed in Hastings many times over 15 years and this is our favourite hotel. "

Excellent location with shops and restaurants nearby - we went to Webbe, a fish restaurant less than 5 mins from the Lookout. Gusbourne vineyard 15 minute taxi ride away - highly recommended. "

"Pleasant hotel with decent public areas. Food good in restaurant but not able to sample breakfast as this was too late for business guests. Room very warm and difficult to cool even with supplied fan. Quite a tricky exit/entrance from main road depending on time of day. Staff lovely and made to feel welcome during the stay. Good value for the room chosen and overall a good experience."

"Lovely hotel situated right on the pebbly beach at Bexhill. The restaurant, bar and lounge were excellent. Food in the evening really good and served by helpfull and attentive staff. Our room did not have a sea view as expected and paid for, but was spacious and well appointed. The staff were really helpful with our bike and went out of their way to look after it and keep it safe. This much appreciated. Sadly we had an issue with the shower over the bath and would recommend anyone to be careful...

"The host was acomodating and really helpful. Easily accessible via texts. We never actually saw her. Room was prepared for us and welcoming, refreshments were available on arrival and kid found little fridge greaf. Some little things in there that makes the room not be worth 10/10 like little TV never working or shower leaking so needing to use one of towels to make sure we don't drown neighbours, but we would return providing that the order becomes easier. Unsure if I'd book via hotels.com...
