The property manager was very helpful and communicated with us regularly but the VRBO chat only worked occasionally on my phone while we were there and so I was not always able to reply."

"The house is up for sale and it seems like it has been a little forgotten about in terms of maintenance and care. It's quite new but already looks quite run down. The area it is in is a building site (not great to look at but there were no noise disruptions during our stay) and a bit strange, maybe off-season but it felt abandoned and in disrepair. The host was responsive and as helpful as they could be but perhaps their hands were tied in terms of what they were allowed to do. For example:...

"Super modern apartment, clean, well equipped, comfy bed and within walking distance to large mall, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and beach. A few minutes drive to golf courses. Overlooking shared pool set in secure gardens with palm trees and artificial grass. Highly recommend."

Access to wifi was a real problem for me and needing to sit in reception to do my work was very inconvenient. Furniture in rooms very uncomfortable.. Located in a good area but this time of the year most places are closed "
