"We were late arriving and had been anxious, having booked dinner, but Tanguy was a relaxed, understanding, and welcoming host. The room with its window seat, large and well-appointed bathroom, and surroundings were spotless. Despite being only a couple of streets from the busy main road Le Clos des Poulies was peaceful and set in a lovely garden. Dinner was great - thank you Tanguy!"

"This beautiful property is outside of a quiet village right on the river with huge beautiful grounds. We watched deer and red fox cross the grass from forested area to the other side daily. There’s a track along the river and a lovely nearby park off Rue du Bac. The staff, Charles, was excellent in attitude and expertise. Quand vous êtes dans un endroit ou l’accueil, le service, la convivialité, la simplicité est l’âme de la maison et que les propriétaires en font une priorité, un grand merci à eux. À cela vous rajoutez des repas réalisés de main de maître par la maîtresse de maison avec principalement du fait maison avec des produits locaux, du jardin, … Vous vous sentez bien, comme chez vous. "Not what we expected very surprised to find loo and bathroom on ground floor and shared with all inhabitants of the house. So surprised during a pandemic that only used things to a minimum also no hand gel provided. Do not feel house was made to be a BnB more like barging into someone's private house."

"Andre and Nicole have done very well with the limited space their buildings present. Everything is brand new it seems. The breakfasts were over the top as far a quality and quantity. We were there in strawberry season and were provided with a bowl every morning, along with other items from the list they present."

"Beautiful place to say with spacious gorgeous amenities,great welcome and lovely breakfast.We arrived Tuesday so most local eateries were shut .There is a reasonable restaurant 12 kilometres away but we opted for a straight forward dish at the local walkable pizzaria which was fine .In fact there is free use of the kitchen & Madame keeps a healthy stock of wine & beer that you can purchase.It would have been far more sensitive to bring our own food - next time if it’s a Monday / Tuesday."
