What a special place! The location is walkable to so many dining and shopping areas as well as the Opera House. The owners are remarkably kind and the rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. The dining at Dobo rooftop restaurant was memorable for both the view and the exceptional food. Paola and Dominico, the owners, were extremely personable and provided wonderful suggestions and made our stay special. I would return and stay here again ~ it was excellent.

Palazzo So rana has and excellent location. You can walk to all important areas & restaurants from here. The size of the room Is fabulous. Loved the convenience of having breakfast & cappuccinos next door. Only problem is the noise on Friday & Saturday nights on the Main Street until midnight. The rooms have great shutters so you w need to shut them to block out noise. Otherwise wonderful poroperty w roof top restaurant.

The location was fantastic. We had a beautiful view of the opera house and we’re in walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The parking was close and our hotel provided a pass for the zone restrictions and told us exactly what parking lot to go to. Very convenient!

The room is bright and specious with a separate kitchen. It’s very nice to come back to after a day of exploring Palermo. We had two balconies to sit on that face the opera. Lovely to sit on with a glass of wine or coffe and watch people go by. It’s a great location in the heart of everything. But if you are in Palermo for a good night sleep the location might be less ideal as it is very noisy from the party goers in the street until the early hours. Bring ear plugs !

The property is clean, well kept, the rooms are just like the pictures. The staff very attentive and make available to help when needed and provided us with recommendations. I will definitely stay there again.

I booked a Superior Deluxe Room, which in all the pictures posted it in Expedia, that type of room is fully facing the Massimo Theater and the square, but mine was at the end of the side of the building in an ally facing other building, 2 meters saperation, which means no view and no privacy. When I complained to the staff, they say the have 2 Superior Deluxe Room facing the theater, and 2 facing the ally. Good luck if you book this type of room

Centrally located, walking distance to many of the Palermo downtown attractions. The streets nearby are walking street, very charming. Room is really and big. We had a great time.

To be honest I expected much more. Specially after seeing their website. We didn't have a tv remote the whole stay and they didn't care to look for one. We got a tiny bottle of shampoo for 3 people. They charge one night more than the others. The arrival to the town by car was not very convenient of you carry luggage and no one helps you. I am traveling with kids.

Good morning, I'm sorry you didn't appreciate the structure, as regards the bathroom facilities, in fact they were immediately brought to you as soon as you asked for them.For help with luggage, from the parking lot, as we are not in Palazzo Sovrana, we do not have a concierge service, but if you asked we would certainly have come to help you as we did as soon as you arrived and went.

Stunning apartment opposite the Theatre, lots of entertainment going in round about all day long. Great breakfast served at cafe across the road. We will definitely stay there again.

Brilliant serviced apartment we were in Palermo very early as we had caught the excellant overnight ferry. We were able to leave our bags and fully check in later. The apartment looks over the opera house and on Saturday evening we watched the promenade down the street which is closed to traffic. Breakfast is at a friendly restaurant a short step away. Really recommend a stay here.

A nice property. Spacious. Missing a few small finishing touches (Glasses & Wine Glasses). The breakfast (a cafe next door) is average and boring. Central Location means the sounds of people and activities can be heard up till midnight before things settle. Airport transfer didn't work out as planned. Overall, a lovely place that will improve over time.

Thank you for being at Palazzo Sovrana.I'm sorry you didn't find the glasses were inside the kitchen cabinet, along with the tea cups and wine glasses.I'm sorry that you found the Sicilian breakfast "boring", made of sweet and savory served in a historic bar in Palermo that has been open since 1927.For the noise we have very well soundproofed windows and being you on the top floor, it is strange that you have warned of the confusion, but being in the square of the main tourist attraction of the city, in front of the Teatro Massimo, it is really difficult that there are few people during all the hours of the day, as indeed in all the big cities of the world.

This is a full service apartment. It is clean and spacious but they can do better with some of the furniture. Desk and cupboard look old and spartan. Property is inaccessible to vehicles but not a far walk from the drop off. Those with walking problems should be aware. There is also a short flight of stair before the lift.

Good morning, thanks for being at Palazzo Sovrana, I'm sorry that the wardrobe and desk seemed old and spartan to you, but everything is new and is only 3 years old, considering 1 year of closure for COVID, they have not been used much.Being in the most representative square of the city, opposite the Teatro Massimo, the heart of the historic center of Palermo, like all historic centers, it is closed to traffic and is a pedestrian area.For those with walking problems we have an autamatic stairlift, among other things mentioned in the description. But in your case, you didn't have any problems I found you in excellent health.

Lovely room in superb location, couldn't be better in Palermo. Roof terrace wasn't open, very disappointing given it probably increased the price significantly but no refund offered. Breakfast at local cafe was good, just wish the waiters smiled a bit more.

Beautiful room with small kitchen, not equipped for cooking but with sink, fridge, glassware, plates & coffee/tea. Very spacious, modern and comfortable. The surroundings are lively but a bit noisy at night.

Modern apartment in the heart or Palermo. Location couldn’t be better. Large refrigerator, three balconies, large bathroom. The area is pedestrian only, so be prepared to rrolll luggage on uneven terrain for a couple of blocks.

This apartment is in a great location in the heart of Palermo. Paola was a great host and made is feel very welcome. The apartment was spacious, clean and we'll presented. I'd definitely recommend this place for a stay in Palermo.

For his driving experience, unfortunately it has nothing to do with Palazzo Sovrana, I'm sorry that it influenced your judgment.

Our room overlooked Piazza Verdi and the Teatro Massimo. While not quiet, the location was vibrant and entertaining and within easy walking distance to all the places we wanted to see. Breakfast at the adjacent cafe Ruvulo was really nice and included in the tariff. We really enjoyed our stay.

Palazzo Sovrana is new, location is great, room is large and clean, it is a B&B, no services. The owner helped us to carry our luggage to the room at the checked-in. At checked out, the owner did not show up, we have to carry our luggage by our own. One thing I need to mention is that Palazzo Sovrana is located in a pedestrian zone. The car is not allowed to enter, you need to tow your luggage about 100 meters from the taxi drop off place to the Palazzo Sovrana.

A great experience
We had a great experience staying at Palazzo Sovrana in Palermo. First of all, the room is very clean, modern, and well maintained. Our room even had a small kitchenette with dishes. We had two different amazing views: one was of Massimo Theatre which is right in front of the hotel and the other one was the via Bara and Via Maqueda streets views which are very vibrant and alive all night long. Secondly, the staff is very friendly, communicative, and helpful. Paola and Philip used to answers our texts very quickly and always had great suggestions for restaurants, places to vist, and the best gelateria. Paola took us to our room and showed us everything. Thirdly, it's located in a great location and is walkable and safe during the day and night. We can not wait to come back to Palermo and Palazzo Sovrana.

We stayed in Palermo for 4 nights. The location is in the PERFECT location. Very close to restaurants and sights to see. The room was very modern and clean. The WiFi was great. Filippp was THE BEST.. He was so willing to help with anything we needed (reservations for dinner, questions about covid testing sites or help downloading our results, and printing airport docs). Great stay!
