This B&B is extraordinary. It's in a slightly off the beaten path spot a couple blocks south of the Capo market and a few blocks west of La Maqueda in Palermo. I'm not sure how old the building is, probably 1800s, but someone spent some money making the rooms very comfortable and up to date, and the greenery is spectacular. The staff is amazing and helpful, they set us up with a wonderful local driver (Lavinia) who was incredibly helpful in getting us around town and shared so much local knowledge with us (she spoke little English, we spoke close to zero Italian, she used a translator app. I can't say enough nice things about her, she really made our visit.) The property is beautiful, the breakfast spread was amazing. If you want to stay at a Hilton, this isn't it, but if you want an unforgettable Sicilian experience, this is the place for you.
