Yes, it is an older building, yes, the wifi is very slow and sometimes non-existent... BUT, the staff are incredible, and the location is the best !! Will definitely stay here again.

There was no-one there to assist with luggage when we arrived. The elevator is very small and when could not fit two suitcases and two people on elevator at one time. We had to use the elevator one at a time or have one person walk the 4 flights. The toilet was down a corridor within the bedroom. After using the toilet you had to walk into the main part of the bedroom to the shower and sink to wash your hands. We experience with the WiFi but it was repaired once we informed the gentleman at the front desk. The property is right in the middle of the city and convent to many attractions right in the heart of Paris. This helped to make up for the inconveniences.

This property was a great room and great location. No complaints here! They have a policy for you to leave your keys at the front desk anytime you leave the property and they do not have you confirm your identity when picking them back up. All night long, someone was running up and down the hallway banging on doors. The walls are paper thin, so if sleep is a high priority and you’re a less than heavy sleeper, that may be hard to come by at this property. Overall, I would not stay again.

The staff was courteous and helpful and the hotel location is excellent. Breakfast was a bit limited, but acceptable. Internet connectivity was poor to nonexistent.

Good location but way overpriced
The hotel is in excellent location, and the receptionists are extremely helpful and approachable. The building is a little outdated, the room was warm, but the lights so bad my wife needed her phone torch to put on make up. The housekeeper did not come until 3pm. The breakfast area is tiny, not buffet, they bring a piece of baguette, a croissant, a pain au chocolat, a glass of orange juice and tea/coffee. Cheese cream, butter, two jams. Not continental, no eggs, no meat products. Although the location is excellent, it is way too expensive for such basic hotel.

Do not stay here. The rooms are as small as you can imagine. Imagine a toilet fewer than two feet from where you lay your head on a pillow. No ventilation, either. Cleanliness is mediocre at best. It was so bad that we booked for four nights and left after one. It’s more a hostel for 18 year old backpackers who don’t have standards or expectations. We chose the place because it was centrally located. But honestly that’s its only feature.

Excellent and helpful staff. Very convenient location. Double room was tiny. It would be difficult to have more than one small roller bag in the room. Toilet was in a separate room right next to the bed, so you had to go to the separate shower / sink room to wash hands. That was a bit strange. No air conditioning, but there was a small lift.

The room has no window facing outside, so there’s no fresh air flow, except from the air within the building. The only desk was greasy. The room is on the top floor, and hot. The reception said the room has an air conditioner, but in fact it’s an old fan which you can put water at the bottom, which made the room even more humid and smelly.

Great hotel if you want to be nearby the Louvre or the Orsay. Keep in mind this is an older, European hotel so the bathrooms are rooms are smaller for first time Paris visitors. Hotel staff were AMAZING. welcoming and friendly each AM and PM.

This property was in the perfect location, only a 9 minute walk from the Louvre museum. The rooms took you back to the early 20th century, which was charming. The staff was amazing, I enjoyed my stay and would stay definitely stay here again.

Our new favorite Parisian hotel?
We usually stay on the West Bank but our favorite hotel was full. This hotel was a really nice alternative - and we found the neighborhood delightful - a bit less crowded, great restaurants but still easy access to the river and Notre Dame. Wonderful staff! Clean and comfortable, very generous breakfast.

Everyone said the rooms in Paris are small so we were delightfully surprised by how big the room was. We were right around the corner from lots of restaurants, including a French bakery where we ate breakfast every day. There is a metro stop a few doors down so getting to and from the hotel was easy. Plus, it was a great location so we could walk to the Louvre or Notre Dame in 10 or so minutes. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is at a great location. The room I had was really small, with a tiny bathroom. Someone a bit larger would not fit in the shower! The hotel could use a little refresh, but it's still okay. 1 night or perhaps a few is fine, but I wouldn't stay there a week. The service was 5 stars! Super friendly and very accommodating. I arrived at 9 am, and while their official check in policy is 1pm, they got me in a room as soon as one was cleaned.

Nice simple spot in the heart of the 1st!
Wonderful people work at the hotel. The carpets could be replaced but it’s perfectly great. Location is perfect. I’d stay again. Nothing glamorous but a great price for a spot to sleep each night after exploring all day.

Not such a great experience nor hotel. Basic.
I guessI was expecting better. The room was very basic looking and its bed was blah. The pillows were very uncomfortable. I only stayed there for one night, thankfully. The bathroom even though small was good. Very clean and functional. I guess it is a very European thing not to have all walls on the shower, so water goes everywhere. When I tried to pay for the hotel taxes, the front desk guy did not let me pay with my card. There was a terminal there but he just did not want to do it. I stayed in Paris 2 other times and I have never had any issues with paying with my card I said. He was like, not here in Paris, sorry. So, I paid in cash, no big deal but I did not have enough cash so I had to get some from an ATM. The room felt like a 1-2 stars hotel.
