The owner was personable and runs a nice motel. The restaurant located upstairs is definitely worth a visit. First time having Walleye & it was delicious!

The inn keeper/manager treated me with respect and made sure I felt welcome far from home. The entire staff all did the same and even cooked for me when the restaurant had was booked for a large dinner, invitation only. It was delicious and definitely made my stay memorable. I implore anyone who is considering where to go to stay to book this charming hotel and enjoy some good ol hospitality! 10 out of 10 in my humble opinion

Very good hotel, for a very inexpensive price
The room was very clean, including the bathroom. Usually you will be able to see dirt/crud in the corners but not here. The shower was also very clean. The room itself did not have any dirt or dust anywhere i looked, which is good as i have many allergies. I was somewhat concerned about this hotel since the price was so low, but this was my 2nd stsy there and i have 2 or 3 more coming up and this is where i will stay. Also, there is a restaurant on the 2nd floor and the food and service there is very good.

The stay was great ! The service was nice and no problems ! We were pleasantly surprised how large our room was and clean and comfy, older building but we were there a week with no noise or issues ! We will return 😃

Members of your staff are very hard to understand and I asked to talk to a manager I was told they are on medical leave. And when I asked if there was someone else they told me no. As a travel agent I will be reluctant to book this property again. I welcome a call back from your manager when they return from medical leave.

Just ok, but next option 30 minutes away.
Small town not a lot of options. Let me preface great staff very friendly. However it's an old building with out dated rooms. They did have new desks drawers and beds.

There is nothing I didn't like. I have stayed here a couple times now as it is very convenient for me when I come that way to visit my Mom in the nursing home. The staff is absolutely wonderful, rooms are so very clean, am so happy that Park River has this place.

They still use keys!

A very clean, quiet retro motel. The owner is very pleasant. Wi-Fi worked great also The restaurant up stairs has very good food.
