There was no option in the hotel for food or snacks, and found Pemberton to be just as disappointing. It was raining for our stay and there was a tiny bench at the edge of the property as the designated smoking area, where a sign above the ashtray stated that smoking on this property was a privilege and a $500 fine would follow anyone who stepped out of the 2m designation. The pool and hot tub were both small and crowded. Their charge for a bottle of wine was roughly 3x thr amount from the nearby liquor store. Overall, for the price of the hotel we expected a lot more, especially when we had to pay an extra 300 that wasn't refunded for several days. Also, because we used Expedia instead of booking directly, they charged us an extra tax. What was supposed to be a relaxing getaway after a very difficult week, we found this place to be far from relaxing, non-inclusive, and overall cold and ininviting.

The hotel is surrounding by the giant mountains, and next to the one mile lake. All the outdoorsy should check it out if travelling in this area. Also! They are super dog friendly, but make sure to let the hotel know in advance if you’re bring your furry friends with you.
