Lovely stay
This is a well located and perfectly hosted cottage. We had a lovely, relaxing 4 night break in May. The host went beyond providing us with cake and essentials like milk and bread, she even set out some toys for our daughter.

Perfect host, location and cottage.
Tanya, the host was extremely helpful, providing basic essentials for our arrival including a home baked cake along with advice on the local area. Cottage was ideal for our stay and the location was perfect-quite yet close to many area attractions. Would definitely recommend and we would book again.

Wonderful Stay
Suited our purpose of visiting Tenby for Ironman and then for StackpoleEstate area to be enjoy beaches especially Broadhaven. Wonderful hilly climbs for cyclists. Super cosy cottage with lovely sunny sitting out area at front of cottage. Tanya is an excellent host with a lot of helpful advice. Thank you.

Perfect for us, family of 4, young(ish) kids 10 and 12
Lovely from top to toe. Amazing host. Fantastic part of the world. We have two girls often hard to please, they loved having a floor to themselves. We arrived to treats from the host and it just got better from there. Super private position. Big courtyard to ourselves and an even more private area out the back. Genuinely hard to fault. We'll be back and recommending to our friends and family!

Home from home
The rental was just as we had imagined, cosy and comfortable. Tanya was a terrific host who was easily contactable and made sure we had all we needed. It’s a shame the weather wasn’t on our side but that didn’t detract from our stay. Would definitely book again to enjoy more of the wonderful landscape

Wonderfull cottage
Overall we had a lovely holiday with a lovely owner. The cottage is in a perfect location and has everthing you could ever want. We were able to visit many places in Pembrokeshire as the location is so good. I wish I had found this earlier.

Excellent family holiday in Pembroke
Tanya is an excellent host and the property is perfectly located for a fun family holiday. It’s full equipped for all your needs and just a short drive from shops, restaurants and most importantly the beautiful local beaches. We were welcomed with fresh bread, milk & butter, along with a beautiful homemade cake…delicious! Thank you Tanya for a lovely week, we can’t wait to come back again next year!

Perfect Holiday

Excellent cottage
Very well equipped and beautifully furnished cottage, 5* communication with Tanya. She also looks after us really well! Milk, butter, bread, jam and homemade cake too on arrival! Location is excellent too, Lily Ponds and Bosherton are both just a few min to drive. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone !

A beautiful cottage
We really enjoyed our stay in Fir Tree Cottage and would definitely recommend it. We loved having the quiet rural location and at the same time having everything we wanted to see and visit just a short drive away. The cottage was perfect for the four of us. It was well equipped with everything you would need and more, the beds were very comfortable and host Tanya even baked us a delicious cake on our arrival day too! We would definitely return.

Lovely cottage, wonderful host
The location is so peaceful and completely quiet. We were only there for 3 nights for the weekend having rolled over our booking from 2020 to 2021 then 2022 as my nephew's wedding was postponed year by year due to the pandemic. Tanya was so helpful in that regard. The host, Tanya, is incredibly welcoming and left us milk, bread, jam, tea, coffee and staple condiments and a lovely homemade cake. Trust me not all places do this! She also ferried us to and from the wedding we were attending nearby to save one of us having not to have a drink - definitely over and above any host we've ever stayed at before. We were extremely grateful. The beds are very comfy, each bedroom having it's own bathroom was great - one with bath, one with shower. The wifi is excellent, the modern TV etc is good - but it was a little different from ours and we forgot to ask her for the knack with it so it took us a while to crack it. But we only watched it briefly one evening just relaxing after we arrived. Thanks to the wifi we were able to book an evening boat trip from Martin's Haven to see the puffins, etc which needs to be done online - and it's over an hour's drive away so you don't just turn up on the off change. As you would expect in the area the mobile signal is patchy - I got a signal sometimes - but I live in Bristol and it can be just as patchy at my own home! The cottage's location so close to the Stackpole Estate and the wonderful beach there whilst just minutes from Pembroke for any bits and pieces from the Coop was ideal. We drove our electric car and Tanya was happy for us to plug our 3 pin charging cable into the house. This is often not permitted at holiday accommodation we've noticed, so this was also important to us as we would have struggled otherwise. Tanya didn't want paying for the charging but we left her the cost of the electricity despite her protestations because as we all know it is not cheap these days. I'm a very picky holiday accommodation renter and I have nothing but praise for this cottage and host and would rent it again in a heartbeat. Thank you Tanya (and Bill) for your warm welcome and all you did for us whilst we were there.

A perfect place to explore south west coast of Wales
Fir Cottage was a very relaxing home to return to after walking parts of the coastal track, the very interesting national trust Stackpole Estate, Bosherton lily ponds , Freshwater West to Angle and places along the way. Our host Tanya was a font of information and good ideas for getting around. The cottage was super comfortable and really well setup. Highly recommended .

Warm generous hospitality
Very generous hosting in a lovely, clean and tastefully decorated cottage with much privacy. Comfortable beds snd lovely linen. Tanya was very welcoming and sent us information prior to the visit which prompted us to book pub etc in advance. She had left us lots of bits and pieces in the cottage - fresh bread, butter and jam, milk ice creams and a delicious home made cake. Really above and beyond! It made us feel at home at once along with the books snd DVDs. Beautiful area - we only travelled in the car for 8 minutes for wonderful coastal walks, Lily ponds and beaches. Thank you Tanya for your generous hosting. It really made the holiday.

Amazing experience!
Beautifully set up, welcoming cottage owned by amazing couple Tanya and Bill. We were made feel 100% at home with all the essentials and more in the cottage. Fireplace is a highlight and a signature of the cottage! Us as well as our kids (4 and 8) loved every minute. The amount of places to go around the area is insane and all the spots are as unique as they can be. Loved it!

Lovely relaxing stay
Would firstly like to thank Tanya for being a super host, we were greeted with a freshly baked cake (which went down extremely well with the kids) and a tour of the cottage. This was our first time staying in Pembrokeshire and Tanya gave us lots of information during the week and recommendations on places to visit and eat. The cottage was well equipped with all we required and an ideal base for a family of four to explore this lovely area. The coastal walks and beaches were stunning. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fir Tree Cottage

Another brilliant stay
It was our second stay at Tanya and Bill’s brilliant cottage. It is extremely well equipped and comfortable, and close to too many beautiful beaches and walks to mention - a real playground for nature and outdoors lovers. Wonderful stay!
Wonderful stay in a beautiful cottage. Fir tree cottage is an idyllic home - fully equipped with a lovely welcome cake and goodies. Plenty of room, both inside and out. The cottage is superbly located - very close to the Stackpole estate and the fantastic beaches of Barafundle and Broadhaven south. Tanya is super friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Super!
Lovely cozy property, well fitted out with nothing wanting. Having 2 bathrooms is a benefit with a family and the used of the terraces is brilliant. This is in the middle of rural Pembrokeshire, so you will need a car or bikes (with strong legs!) but for kicking back and taking things off line it was wonderful!

Lovely week away in a delightful cottage
We had a great holiday in this delightful cottage not far from some amazing beaches. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and lots of home comforts. When we arrived the basics had been provided, bread, milk, butter and jam, not to mention a home baked cake! The beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of towels provided. The owners could not have been more welcoming. We had some car issues while we were there and they were so helpful and went above and beyond to assist us. Would recommend a stay here!

Fantastic Cottage in an amazing location
Beautiful little cottage, superbly equipped, very comfortable beds and super friendly and helpful hosts (great restaurant recommendations). Moreover the location is absolutely amazing, being so quiet yet close to all the beaches (our favourite is Broadhaven South) and well located for Pembroke shops. A real gem ...
Nestled down a quiet lane, the cottage is so welcoming and inviting. And the well equipped interior doesn't disappoint. Lovely touches of garden flowers and a delicious Victoria sandwich were added bonuses! Bill and Tanya were on hand if needed.

Practical cottage for friends sharing with two bedrooms & bathrooms
Pretty cottage, helpful hosts . Quite well equipped. Professionally laundered bed linen., home made cake all appreciated. Flooring in kitchen & downstairs bathroom needs an up grade. Attention to cleaning behind beds & removing cobwebs from rooms is required However we did enjoy the layout of the cottage & practicality for two friends sharing. We enjoyed our stay overall.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. As I had informed you before your arrival, my baby grandaughter was taken seriously ill in Scotland. My son volunteered to prepare the cottage for guests until my return to save their holidays being cancelled. I'm sorry if there were cobwebs and some dust behind the beds, normally I would do the cleaning and have a checklist. I agree the flooring needs upgrading. However due to everywhere being closed for so long, we are on a waiting list to have this done. Enjoy the rest of your summer, Tanya

Brilliant cottage in a fantastic location with super-friendly hosts
We had a wonderful holiday at Fir Tree Cottage. Hosts Tanya and Bill couldn't have been nicer and more efficient. As well as being picturesque, the cottage is very well-equipped, with beach towels, hot water bottles, blankets and a kitchen which had better equipment than our own at home! We ended up taking things we just didn't need as Tanya and Bill had thought of everything. There is also a lovely outdoor patio area where you can sit and chill during the day, and admire the sunsets in the evening. Highly recommend :)

Amazing location and lovely cottage!!
Fantastic cottage, well laid out and everything we needed. Tanya is a wonderful host, friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the badgers and birds. Great location, close enough to many attractions but a very private cottage feel. It was a shame we only booked two nights!!

Superb cottage

First Staycation after Lockdown
Tanya was a generous and very welcoming host. The property was a tranquil haven near Stackpole in South Pembrokshire. It had everything you needed and also many lovely toches such as the fresh flowers in every room and a cake and bubbles for the birthday guest. Superb.

Great stay over a sunny week
The cottage was perfect for our needs and ideally placed with the glorious beaches of Broadhaven South and Barafundle nearby. The cottage had everything we needed with the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in! Totally recommend any guest to enjoy their time here.

Beautiful property in a fabulous location.
Tanya is one of the friendliest people you could wish to meet. The property has everything you could possibly need and all the little touches like milk, juice, cake and the means to have a well deserved cuppa when you arrive. Very welcoming. The property owner even baked s a cake for our arrival. This is a secluded, beautiful cottage about 10 minutes from the ocean.

A great introduction to the delights of South Pembrokeshire
We were warmly greeted, impressed with the cottage itself, its layout, cleanliness but mainly, the charm of the location and the effort that had obviously gone into small but tasteful touches. It is our first venture with HomeAway and we have equally been impressed with the ease of booking and sourcing information. We have already mentioned our successful forage into your rented holiday accommodation system, to friends and family so thank you and congratulations on your business.
