Excellent Budget Hotel
Really friendly greeting on arrival fron reception. The room we stayed in was a family room double with bunk over the top or seven year old loved the novelty of this. The room is small but has everything that was needed for our four night stay. Theres not a lot of privacy but that was on for us as we've been together for years and our daughter's young. We had no intention on spending a lot of time in the room and it was just a base for us to sleep and recharge between exploring the beautiful city and surrounding areas. The maids were excellent and kept the room clean and supplied with toilet roll and clean towels. Breakfast is simple but enjoyable we loved the fresh breads and condiments. My only suggestion would be it would be nice to have a kettle in the room to make coffee/tea whenever we would have liked one. This hotel is a budget hotel we expected simplicity and not extravagance. Fantastic base in the heart of the city and only a 10 minute walk to the Gare TGV where buses and trains are available for travelling to near areas. Highly recommend taking the number 3 bus to the Oniria Aquarium and the beach.

A very poor experience
One of the worst hotel stays that I’ve ever had. The room itself is incredibly basic and has the feel of a hotel rather than a hotel. As it’s a cheap hotel, I could overlook that if it was the only issue. Sadly, the main issue was that I consistently could enter my room due to a faulty lock. The first night involved waiting for an hour and a half while the very concerned concierge failed to unlock the room, resulting in me not having access to my clothes, work equipment or wash kit for the night. I was finally given another room at 4.30am but was asked to be back up early to get my room back. When I requested a refund for that night, it was refused. I pushed this further and was told to email the manager. Weeks later and I’ve still not had a response. The same faulty door also wouldn’t open the following night and the same concierge had to break the lock open, asking me not to leave the room once I was in, as it would probably jam again. A truly awful hotel experience. This would be a 1 star review if it wasn’t for the night concierge who did all he could to help.

You know where you are with an Ibis
Check in was easy, I booked and then an hour later I was in my room. The location is very central, only 10 mins walk from the old town and next to bus links. My room was clean although a little shabby, marks on the floor and walls but nothing that bothered me. I had plenty space and the shower worked well too. Only a small thing but when I tried to buy something from the vending machines in reception they were not working.

Drunken saxons
Clean accommodation close to the centre. Warm welcome and educational synopsis of city history offered by receptionist. However, the stay was ruined by the presence of drunken English limeys who urinated outside the main door of the hotel without a care for anyone. The TV in the room didn't work and wasn't even connected! While this was an annoyance it was nothing compared to the Saxons in the hotel.

Convenient location
Convenient location, with Carrefour 2 min walk away. 20 minutes walk from Perpignan train station and 5 minutes walk to the old town. Nice decor, clean and tidy. Friendly and efficient reception staff. Room size is small, but shower cabinet and toilet room are spacious. Good that the two are separated, and hand washing sink is outside, cause the room can accomodate up to three persons.

If you are on tight budget
You got what you paid for. If you expect the room is very clean then its not a good choice. There is water keeps dropping from ceiling in the toilet, cigraette butt at the window. Except that, the location is good, bed is comfortable.

Ok for singles and couples not so much for sharing
A few of us stayed here for our annual rugby trip to Perpignan as it was cheaper than our usual hotel. We had a mix of single and twin rooms, the rooms are fine for singles but the ones who shared weren't over happy mainly due to having no personal space when coming out of the shower as the showers are in the room with just a screen round meaning there is nowhere to dry and dress in private, also no space for 2 people to be up and about doing things at the same time. The rooms comprise of a large and very comfortable double bed and a single bunk above it. My original room ahd a broken window blind and was changed to another which reeked of cig smoke, even after having all the windows open all day till i returned at night it still stunk, maybe i was unlucky and was placed in a 'smoking' room due to me being moved. The corridors and stairs also stunk of smoke and we're a bit tatty and dirty and the place could do with a bit of maintainence but it is after all a budget hotel. The breakfast buffet was good value for a rough morning after, at 6.60 the unlimited coffees were definitely welcoming, although there isn't too much choice there is enough to get your money's worth. The hotel itself is situated in the middle of the city centre and was ideally situated for the many bars and restaurants and attractions this lovely city has to offer. Would we stay again? probably but most would want a single room which puts the cost up to similar what we would have paid.

The hotel was located close to the tourist centre, and lots of local restaurants and bars. The room was clean and comfortable, you just need to be aware that teh bathroom is not really separate from the rest of the room. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. It was well priced for our needs.

Good budget hotel in Perpignan
Very convenient, clean and comfortable hotel in Perpignan. Many restaurants nearby, walking distance to centre. Staff were very friendly too.

An excellent budget hotels. No frills but very clean with helpful friendly staff. Although initially a bit difficult to locate as it is not on an actual road but in a pedestrianised area once found it is close to the main centre with bars and cafes. The booking confirmation caused us problems as it says you must contact the hotel beforehand to get access, however the phone number is unobtainable. We took a chance and just turned up and there was no problem as there were staff on reception up until midnight

Fine for a budget hotel.
As a budget hotel this was fine. The breakfast was a little disappointing, no eggs or meat, so very little protein, and cereal was very basic, no nice muesli, as was shown in the picture on the wall. May be fine for some, but we only paid for it on the first night, which we were glad of. I suggest you only try one, before committing to your whole stay. Bed was good.

Right in the heart of things.
Very clean modern hotel. Staff friendly. The room was capsule like, but had everything (no hairdryer) I needed. Very well positioned in the city, close to bars, restaurants, shops and next to the theatre! Only a 15 minute walk to and from bus and train stations. They had good parking if needed. Excellent!

Great Location
Great hotel for the price, same as all budget ibis but the location is fantastic, there is no noise from road as it’s pedestrian in front of hotel yet it is only a couple of streets away from some of the best tapas bars in Perpignan.

Very basic but then so was the price
This very basic hotel never promised to be anything other than what it was. Well located at the periphery of the touristic city centre. Very clean and tidy, offering a simple basic good value continental breakfast at a reasonable charge. Staff were few but all excellent. The room was clean, tidy and functional....on the small side but everything was there....bit like the inside of a well proportioned caravan! Room staff did a first class job. Overall, fine for a few days.
