This is a simple, inexpensive place to sleep just before or after a long flight. It’s a chalet style motel, and the rooms themselves are quite large and perfectly serviceable. My only objection is that not a single finger has been lifted to try to make it a pleasant environment. The whole room is painted white, the bed linen is white, the cwiling is white, there is not a splash of color in the whole place. I have to say it reminded me of homeless shelters I have stayed in in the post. Functionally, OK. Decoratively, makes no effort at all. Not even a calendar with nice dogs on it. The sheer spartan atmosphere drew a gasp from my wife. Come on guys, put a stripy cover on the bed and a couple of cheap reproductions on the wall. Is it too much to ask? By the way, the much touted welcome bottle of wine was only a half bottle and the welcome cookie has a best before date of March 2025, nearly a year away, so must have been rammed with preservatives. Tasted like cardboard. Otherwise, fine. Breakfast, included in room rate, was excellent.
