The Piazza Mazzini is a wide, open plaza with picturesque trees and fountains that help to keep you cool during the intense summer heat. Cafés, shops and hotels overlook this busy square, where bars and bright lights create a lively atmosphere at night.
Browse the array of shops and loggias for the latest in fashion and jewelry. Relax with an espresso on a café terrace, watching people go by in the plaza. Its fountain jets and sprays shoot from the floor in the pedestrian area, their dancing sequences and colors entertaining the little ones. Gaze up at the tall, unusual light installations that rise from the center of the plaza. Notice the comical characters jutting out from their advertising boards above the bars and boutiques.
As evening falls, relax in one of the bars and enjoy a few drinks. Get to know the locals in this busy hub and enjoy a meal at a nearby pizzeria. Consider staying the night in one of the hotels in this plaza, which boasts the Maxim Hotel and the Hotel Principe Palace. Outside the latter, a fun carousel for children is often in service.
For a change of scenery, walk south for a couple of blocks to access the sandy beach. Go dancing with friends at a beachside bar or find a spot on the sand to listen to the waves.
The Piazza Mazzini is in the southwestern outskirts of Lido di Jesolo. From the Piazza Brescia, walk southwest for around 15 minutes to reach it. You can also travel by bus or drive and leave your vehicle in one of the many nearby parking lots.
