"The bed was comfortable and car parking was available but this is where the positives stop. The room was rather cold at night (late December) yet you never feel the heating is on. The temp control in the room is set to "central " so you cannot change any settings from the room. The bathroom is very poor. Toilet has terrible limescale stains, missing tiles, poor shower head and fungus in shower tray seal, and it all smells as bad as it looks. I believe the exhaust fan is not working too. Will...

"Hotel was hard to drive to and it was so busy in the area we had to park very far away. It was all gravel and cobblestone to get our luggage to the hotel. There was nowhere in the front to park and unload. Hotel did not have lifts but very narrow, slanted stairs. Understandable as it is an older hotel. "We loved this hotel in the center of Compiegne, France, one hour north of Paris. The room was modernized and comfortable. The breakfast was great. The person at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. We loved this town. It is charming and walkable. Excellent restaurants, especially Bistro du Terroir, which was recommended by the hotel.
