Food was great, check-in was easy. The AC in the rooms are set at 25 degrees Celsius and they won’t drop it due to the condensation in the rooms with the heat outside. I get it, but every night was a horrible hot night’s sleep for us… we stayed 5 nights. The beach has seaweed all year except oct-Feb ish, so didn’t really get to use the beach. Property is good for what you pay. I have to also mention we experienced a little colorism in many subtle ways. One incident in particular the Expedia representative at the front told us she could not assist us with our transportation back to the airport, as she doesn’t work for them… every other time we travel (which is monthly), representatives with HER uniform help us with our transportation back. We had to call our transportation directly to receive any help, on our own phones. She didn’t offer to assist in any way. Even the hotel concierge told me that was odd after I explained the situation. Pool was also extremely hot && uncomfortable! Great resort, but can def use some touches.

**Hotel Review: Cancun Vacation** I recently stayed at a supposedly 4-star hotel in Cancun, but my experience was quite disappointing. Here's a detailed review of my stay: **Pros:** - **Beach**: The beach was one of the few highlights. It was clean, spacious, and had plenty of shaded areas. - **Rooms**: The rooms were nice and modern, providing a comfortable stay. - **Staff Friendliness**: Despite the issues, the staff overall was friendly and tried their best to be helpful. **Cons:** - **Pool**: The pool was dirty and did not seem to be maintained regularly. - **Staff**: There was a noticeable lack of staff, and those available had very limited English proficiency, making communication difficult. - **Entertainment**: The entertainment options for both children and adults were very limited. The same activities and music were repeated throughout the day, leading to a monotonous experience. - **Food**: The food options were very limited, especially for children and those who do not eat pork. The kids' menu was the same across all restaurants, and the buffet did not offer much variety. - **Incident Handling**: I had an incident with a drop of blood in my room after shaving, and the staff kept calling me repeatedly about it without providing a clear reason or solution. - **Drinks**: The drink options were limited, and the bartenders seemed inexperienced, struggling to make even simple drinks. - **Cleanliness**: I found cockroaches in my room several times, which was extremely

Beautiful, affordable beach destination. Amazing beach with plenty of shade and ample Lounging options. Friendly and helpful staff, always ready to say “hola”with a smile, always extremely professional. Resort is spotless. Common areas, restaurants, pool, and beach are kept clean. The air conditioning in the room was fantastic! Will definitely return. Meals at buffet and at a la cartes were fresh, good quality, and plentiful, beautifully presented and served. Loved Maroma beach. Soft sand, turquoise sea, the sargasso was quickly cleaned up when it came on shore. Entertainment team was fabulous, keeping the energy going with fun poolside and beach activities. Everyone, from front desk, to entertainment staff, housekeeping, servers, were friendly and welcoming. Such a great atmosphere for guests. Looking forward to our next visit.
