"The check-in process seemed unusual to us. No one was there when we arrived and we didn't know how to enter the hotel. Fortunately we had a Romanian speaking guide who called the proprietor. Once inside, everything was in fine order. However, the property is not as accessible to the city center as shown in the listing. "

"Stopped off for one night at Casa Albert as we had eaten at Bistro Albert several times and wanted to try the rooms. Food was excellent as before with nice breakfast served in the bistro. Location is very central within easy reach of Piata Sfatului, Black Church, Town Hall etc. Room had tea/coffee facilities and proper bath."

"Great views from the top floor and excellent location - close to Peles Castle. The beds were not super comfortable. The kitchen facilities are in a different part of the house and are shared with others."

"This is a very nice hotel, very clean and beautiful setting. Getting to it is an absolute nightmare. One has to travel down almost 2 miles of dirt, gravel road up the side of a mountain, the GPS that I was using got completely confused and sent me down the wrong dirt road, someone from the hotel had to come to the town square to lead me cause it was impossible to find the place. "The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the other people staying there. The floor upstairs is the ceiling of your room and you hear every step and all the sound echos. The stairs are very loud. Also, there is NO A/C. The room is good and the bathroom is big and clean, but the noise is too much. The host told me to go outside on the terrace to cool off.
