Our Cruise line was quarantined on Mauritius port and we couldn’t disembark. I tried canceling but they didn’t except it so I had to pay for it and we didn’t go.

Disappointing stay at the hotel
The hotel is a disappointment. Our room had no bathroom towels and we had to ask for them. We found a hair strand on the bedsheet. Dinner service was non existent and the food quality was very poor. Ditto for breakfast. The only highlight of our stay was the delightful pizza we had for lunch. It is definitely not somewhere we will be staying again.

Business stay, pleasant but restaurants overrated
Business stay for 3 nights. Was comfortable and room nice, spacious and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Two restaurants at the hotel was overrated for me, had better meals for cheaper at restaurants off site. This is the one area I would recommend to be improved. Airport transfers were arranged by front desk, very helpful, but the return transfer were late in arriving.

We had a wonderful two days at this hotel. The staff are well trained and the service was exceptional. The food was delicious and our room was immaculate and very comfortable. A 5-star experience!!

Please note that it is the hotel policy to take payment upon check in from guest who booking has not been prepaid. I believe the receptionist gave you the quote in Mauritian rupees as well as you requested it . You didn't want to pay in Mauritian Rupees as the hotel exchange rate was lower than the bank, the receptionist agreed exceptionally just to take 200 dollars as deposit for the whole stay and you mentioned that you shall come & pay the next day ( which you settled 3 days after that is on the eve of your departure).I believe we followed the normal procedures for the check in and also you understand the fact that the hotel exchange rate for any currency will not be the same as the bank or any money exchange. We also eased the check in process by not taking full payment for the stay.We thank you for the valuable feedback and hope to welcome you again in our property.Kind Regards,Kevin COOPENRooms Division Manager

Great value at the right level of quality
It is perfect for a business traveller - some chill out areas - food is great value as is the hotel with the cost being one of the lowest for a proper 4* hotel - (some listings are B+B homes). Staff on the whole are friendly.

The place is actually quite good, however for the amount of money charged a few things really didn’t sit well, the aircon in my room was rattling so loudly it kept waking me up, I complained and on the 3rd attempt someone stuck a piece of toilet paper in the casing 🙄 ...and the refill of coffee n creamer etc was poor... oh and charging ZAR350-00 for a 375ml bottle of wine is a rip off of huge proportions ( its R50 for 750ml ) Nice shower and bed👍

Good hotel but can do better in teems of service
It was a good stay. The rooms are clean though corridor floor need renovation as soon as yesterday for the diminish the appeal of this nice hotel.. service was not so good had an encounter with one if the waiters when they sat us in thei izumi restaurant on an undressed table and tried to serve us expensive food on an undressed table.. i think the waiters dont really care how it goes except a few ones. The manager was quick to rectify the issue which was a good thing.. apart from the restaurant staff who are indifferent and the worn out corridors the rest was ok.. the rooms are quite nice and floor are beautiful. reception staff are exceptional

The hotel itself is different from the others which makes it unique. I did not like the welcome at check in. The person at reception was blunt. I heard of the Mauritian hospitality but as my first visit in Mauritius, I did not experience that.

The hotel looks very nice and the view to the sea is pretty. It also boasts a swimming pool with a few lounge chairs which is nice. For breakfast, there is a wide choice, however there are loads of tiny flies where they cut the fruits, there are birds flying in the restaurant and land to eat the bread, jams, Nutella, peanut butter. and landing on the plane where they prepare the pizzas... Also, they have a parrot/ara who climbs on the tables to steal the sugar. If you leave your table with food, the birds will quickly have a feast of your breakfast. We also saw cockroaches roaming around the tables outside. We had half-board. For diner, you have the choice of two restaurants: one Japanese (with a menu where the only choice is on the main) and one Mediterranean (with a 950 MUR allowance per person). The food for the Japanese restaurant is nice but only includes grilled fish, grilled meat, or noodles. The allowance for the Mediterranean restaurant is not enough to cover 3 course meal and on top of this, the choices are very limited and most local dishes are out of allowance choice.

Cleaning with a high pressure hose the area outside the breakfast room during breakfast!! Dishes, glasses and pizza boxes left on the staircase from when we arrives at around 17h00 to when we left the next day at 08h30. Food not great

Hotel in gated residential community - Enjoyable
We really enjoyed our stay. We arrived in Mauritius in the late afternoon and headed straight for the hotel. We received a friendly welcoming arrival and given an overview of the hotel facilities whilst being checked-in and shown to our room. The hotel was very nicely furnished; hip and chic. The room itself was well presented, spacious and offered good facilities. We ate at the Japanese Restaurant in the hotel for dinner, ordering something light to not go to bed with overly full stomachs. The Sushi and Tempura was fresh and delicious. We took the recommendation from the restaurant supervisor/manager, who was also Australian (a nice touch as she shared some tips on what to do in Mauritius). We had a comfortable night's sleep, with the glass doors open to appreciate the cool and fresh evening air. I do like it when hotel rooms provide the option to open your windows. Our breakfast included in the purchase was a nice treat, helping ourselves to a yummy breakfast with fresh and tasty (European) delights. With not too many rooms, the hotel was not over-crowded (which we like). The terraces offered a great place to relax and enjoy an aperitif. The surrounds are well done, the architecture and landscaping/layout of and around the hotel is really cool. This place had a nice Provencal feel, with African/Moroccan influences. I loved the colours used for the exterior of the buildings.

A great experience!
It was a fantastic hotel to stay in for the start of our honeymoon. When we arrived, the whole check-in process was very slick and quick. The hotel is pretty stylish, the bonus is definitely the terrace with breathtaking views and a nice pool area which is ideal for relaxing and enjoying cooling breeze after a hard day's sightseeing or work. Just a slight problem with the location as it is a little far from city center, shopping district and beaches. Nonetheless, it's a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood suitable for those who are looking to just relax and unwind. And the best part? All the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient! We would like to express our sincere thanks to the front desk staff, Kajal for taking time to help us fine tune our itinerary, arranging transportation, etc. She has definitely made our stay nothing short of amazing - writing a sweet note for us, sending up surprise complimentary desserts to our room and getting our bed decorated with flower petals and towel swans. Thank you so much for the extra lengths you went to, Kajal! Overall we would highly recommend this hotel for its lovely service and staff.
