Near the park, beds suck, art is nothing special.
First, great location near park and Prague 7, a locals favorite. Nice receptionist. Room was ok but the bed was so soft you literally sink in like a foot.. woke up with a back ache. Smoke was coming into my room from the outside patio, so no fresh air from the park for me. Breakfast was bland - especially the coffee, i'd avoid drinking it all together. For the price you can get a lot better, maybe not Prague is tough .. hotels don't do improvements.

We are sorry that after spending 1 night with us, you wrote such a bad review, including the information that hotels in Prague are not improving their service. The mattresses in the rooms are new and most guests are extremely satisfied with them. We get great reviews for breakfast, including coffee. The coffee maker will grind fresh coffee for you, from which you can make espresso, cappuccino, latte. The breakfasts are rich in fruits, vegetables, fresh pastries from the nearby bakery, etc. From your rating, we feel that you have not stayed with us at all. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Was a very quiet area with some lovely coffe shops near by. Easy access to city centre via trams.

Great property located in Letna area of Praha (Prague) near the park and lots of cozy neighborhood pubs and cafes. Property has a nice backyard where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea or just have a relaxed time (weather depended). Been staying here for number of years and will do so again.

It's a well maintained hotel which is kept very clean. Its position is a little out of Prague's centre but you can walk in and out through a pleasant park. Allow 40 mins. Otherwise there is plenty of public transport. Breakfast was fine. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. There aren't many restaurants close by but 'The Farm' is just around the corner and is really good and inexpensive.

Lovely hotel, a little far away from the center
THE HOTEL IS CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, AND QUIET. THE BEDS WERE AMAZING! IT IS A LITTLE TOO QUIET, QUITE FAR AWAY FROM TOWN. WE DIDN'T MIND THE WALK, BUT IT WAS OUT OF THE WAY IF WE WANTED TO JUST POP BACK TO THE HOTEL FOR A MIDDAY REST, AND THEN HEAD BACK INTO TOWN FOR DINNER. THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK WAS HELPFUL, AS I NEEDED TO MAKE SOME PHONE CALLS TO TRY TO FIND A PLACE THAT WOULD MAKE EYEGLASSES IN A HURRY. SHE WAS EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING AND NICE! THERE IS A LIFT, BUT YOU STILL HAVE TO CARRY SUITCASES UP A HALF FLOOR, SO BEWARE. IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT BEING IN THE CENTER OF TOWN THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY!

We booked this hotel in January for a 4 night stay from 14th June only to arrive and be told there was no room for us for the 1st night :(. We researched long and hard for the Art Hotel all for nothing. Many of the reviews mentioned how friendly the staff were but they were not friendly to us. We were sent by taxi to their sister hotel in a different area. This was a lucky escape as the staff at Casa Marcello were wonderful and we decided not to go back to the Art Hotel for the rest of our stay. What we would like to know is why we moved without any apology or contact beforehand??? I would advise to stay clear of the Art Hotel and book Casa Marcello as it is much nearer all the attractions and the staff are much more friendly.

We organize and pay transfer to that hotel immediatelly and also extend your stay there for all nights you wish immediatelly. This was our second stay at Art Hotel Prague.This hotel is clean, quiet, pleasantly appointed, most of the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The bed is very good. The location is excellent because you can get anywhere in Prague by public transportation. The breakfasts are very good. Unfortunately, we had a smaller room this time and it took several days to get used to it. There were some small maintenance issues: lamps failing a few times; shower head was clogged.

The location is great outside of that it’s an average hotel. The breakfast selection was really disappointing. They advertised AC rooms but when I arrived I was told it is only used in summer. Overall not the best but far from the worse

You get what you pay for.
The Art Hotel is a very simple and inexpensive hotel. The bed was really comfortable. There are no toiletries so make sure you bring your own shampoo, condition, lotion and toothbrush. There is very little in way of service and there is no handicap access. It was serviceable and for the price, it was fine. I would not return for a future stay. The hotel was chosen for its proximity to the person I was visiting. It is not in walking distance to Prague’s Old Town. It is in walking distance to a beautiful and huge park and near many embassies.

Small friendly comfortable hotel.
Situated above the Metronome which is built on the area of Stalin's Monument. Then across a park its situated next to the Sparta Prague football stadium. Clean and comfortable, breakfast adequate and cater for all tastes. A 20 minute wall into the Old Town Square, although the steps down and back up from the Metronome are for the fit, but with plenty of resting spots if required. Superb views from the Metronome platform over Prague. Beautiful city with friendly people who are welcoming and helpful.

Dated Hotel.
Hotel dated, staff not very accommodating. The centre of Prague was a short walk away however if you go by the steps they are quite tiring coming up. Beautiful city. Trams and buses are cheap and make it easy to get around.

The fan in bathroom was on all the time and you are not able to have a switch to turin it and the light off. The light's fine, you can shut the door, but the fan is annoying that will make you hard to sleep. I booked this hotel because it has ART in its name and it's closed to Letna Park. Trust me, hanging the photos and drawing on the wall, that's it, nothing stylish. And if you want to go Letna, it's only 5min to cross the river, where the major hotels locate and most of them (not as motel-ish as this one) are around 90 EUR. Intercontinental was only $160 while this one was $80.

We are so sorry, there must be some missunderstanding, because there are 2 bottoms in the bathroom - 1 for lights and 1 for fan and it is always possible to switch it off. Very good Hotel. Not really a four star as it is a little shabby in places and only a hand-held shower [ very good water pressure ] I have to say that never in my life have I been in such a clean place. It would put a Hospital to shame. The staff were lovely, and very helpful. The breakfast was nice and is free. Lovely park nearby. Nice quiet area. Ugly tower outside, but it did not bother us too much. Will stay there again.

Nice hotel, excellent breakfast. Airport shuttle arranged to collect from Prague airport. 24 hour reception and bar. Nice garden with table. Out room was spacious with a balcony with lovely views. Rooms cleaned daily if you wish. Short walk through Letna Park takes you into the old town. Bit more energetic getting back but teams are very easy to use and cheap.

Nice hotel close to excellent transport links
Well run, organised hotel. More UK upper 3 star rating than 4 star. Breakfast well organised and staffed accordingly. Housekeeping good and rooms cleaned daily. Reception staff very pleasant and polite. Room shower at a strange height with no shower curtain. Reception area not well advertised and maybe some complimentary nibbles between 17.00 & 19.00 hrs would encourage guests to make use of that area. All things considered, a no frills well run establishment, which i would recommend.

A great place to stay
Great, spacious clean room, and that bath! Tasty breakfast, with good variety. The only minor criticism I can give is that the bed was too soft for me and that it's quite a walk back up the hill from the Old Town after a day's sightseeing.

Great Hotel
Nice and clean hotel. Art atmosphere with beautiful paints surrounds the entire hotel. Wonderful feeling! Staff are friendly and very helpful. They always keep smiling and ready to give help patiently. Bathroom is very clean and tidy. Hotel is in a quiet area but tram station is close by. Despite there is no kettle in the room the receptionist is always happy to provide hot water whenever you require. For my personal feeling, the pillow and mattress could be a bit firmer.

From the photos, we were expecting a room with the hard-wood floor, but got a room with the old carpet. The king bed was comfortable. However, the single bed was converted from the sofa, you could feel the springs. The position of the sofa bed was awkward, the bed was right beside the mirror.

Modern and clean hotel with large rooms
We booked a Junior Suite but on arrival was told it was already occupied, so were given a choice of 2 Deluxe rooms, plus a free meal in their other hotel in the city. The room provided was great, but not what we had booked, having a balcony in-lieu of a terrace, and no drinks facilities, whereas the Suite had a kitchenette and coffee facility etc. The meal offered was very good, although at first we were asked to pay for the wine! Disappointed that we did not get what was paid for, and not a lot of choice what to do about it. But the hotel is still recommended - just let us know what the inside of a suite looks like!

A gem of a hotel in a quiet neighborhood
A truly nice place. The person who checked us in was very pleasant and accommodating. Since we arrived early, she made arrangements for our room to be ready before the official "check-in" time. The room was clean, bright and spacious. We had windows over the courtyard and it was very quiet. The heating system is also quiet and efficient. The hotel isn't located in the touristy part of the city, but the tram stop is close and the center of Prague can be reached within 15 minutes. The breakfast, which is included in the price, is very impressive: a huge variety of food, all of it fresh and tasty.
