Very handy for the town centre / train station. Room was spacious, warm and bed was comfortable. Staff were very helpful and parking is available. Would stay again.

This is your basic hotel, made better by helpful staff, high standards of cleanliness and easy access to station and University. I only made a last minute reservation as my train had been cancelled. I knew I would not get to hotel until nearly midnight. On emailing hotel they provided reassurance within minutes that reception was 24 hour, gave me top notch accurate directions from the station to hotel and instructions to gain hotel access. The check-in was quick and my room was warm and clean. The amenities are utilitarian, but well kept. There was a piping hot radiator next to the bed which really helped on a cold wet Lancashire night! The bathroom was compact, but again very clean and the shower had excellent water pressure and heat both at midnight and the next morning. I would definitely stay here overnight again.
