Thanks for the Review, The wood beside the spa is for burning some of the wood might have some nails so use caution, the front yard is now completed it is hard to book landscapers during a guest stay so it was completed after you left, the view from the front of the house is of West Lake.

Know before you Go
Overall our stay at this Sandbanks property was enjoyable. We had a large group of ladies stay here to enjoy wine country for 3 nights. The location, included Sandbanks car passes, and hot tub were huge bonuses. On the other hand we found the cleanliness of the property did not meet our expectations. As well, the property lacked some common amenities we have seen in other vacation rentals - such as no hand soap provided in the bathrooms, no paper towel, and limited cookware and linens. I would recommend this spot to large groups looking to take advantage of a great location and spacious accommodations but would caution renters that this property may not suit families or those wishing to cook much at home.

Thank for the review, The kitchen is very well stocked for 14 people, never had this type of mention in the past?? the rental agreement clearly states what to bring and what we supply if you had of read it you would of been aware of the ammenities supplied. We read all reviews and improve on them every season.

Spacious accommodations for our group of 12. Recent renovations are very nice. Well equipped kitchen. Owner quick to respond to questions. Located close to wineries, breweries and shopping. A great rental house for large group!

Major maintenance problems
We were disappointed with the way the property is maintained; neglected, dirty rugs, threadbare bedding on poor mattresses, with inadequate numbers of towels, pillow cases and blankets for the 14 people permitted. The ancient oven did not work, and we were forced to cook our Thanksgiving dinner, including the turkey, on the BBQ. ` We were celebrating Thanksgiving there and had to spend a lot of time just handling problems. Starting off, VRBO gave us the wrong password. We had to text several times to find the information we needed was on the frig door. The oven did not reach 300 degrees F and we had to cook the turkey in the BBQ, along with the veggies. We ate the ham cold. We had called earlier to check on the oven and was told it was fine. The stove was inconsistent, it bubbled like a volcano, burned on the bottom but left the middle cool. The ice cube maker did not work and the refrigerator light there was out. There were not enough towels for 14. Considering that we were charged $150 extra for the hot tub, there should have been a reasonable number of towels. We were instructed to take the garbage to the dump at the campground or pay a $100 fee. We had difficulty locating the dump, and found that it was closed; confirmed by the owner after we spent time finding out the hard way. All of us have rented VRBO around the world and have never had to handle the garbage. There were two safety issues that need to be addressed. The bricks on the porch step are loose and pots of mums, used to mark the loose bricks, were very attractive but left only a narrow space to walk through so one would not fall off. A big problem was that the living room is sunken so there is a step at both ends of the room. One 84 year old woman fell down and landed on the table with the glass top and is still suffering substantial rib pain. Two others, both younger males also stumbled, but were able to save themselves from totally landing on the floor. There needs to be a red or yellow stripe on the edge. When bringing in luggage and supplies, one is not looking down but ahead and the step is not readily seen. We kept chairs in front of the area during our stay to warn others. (This same complaint was mentioned in review by Caroline S on September 2019. Host said “all future guests will be made aware of this step”. That obviously has not happened). This could have been catastrophic Lovely house but does not meet potential.

Thanks for the review, we appreciate all reviews. To address some of your comments the carpets although are professionally cleaned twice a year and with the heavy use of weekly rentals they dirty quite quickly, they cannot be steam cleaned between weekly rentals as they will not dry fast enough. You are also the last rental of the season so the carpets are scheduled to be cleaned as soon as you are gone. The flooring is also being replaced this winter with hard flooring. We use a laundry service so there are plenty of towels for every guest they are located in the linen closet. The oven works fine as soon as you left we went in and turned the oven completely off and then turned it on and it reached a temperature of 500 celcious with our laser temperature reader. The stove top also worked perfect, please remember to adjust the temperature accordingly to your needs and there is a highpowered element that heats up quick. The fridge light is fine and works great (the fridge is only 1 yr old) but you must close the doors fully for the light to reset and work properly. This goes for the ice maker also if you don't close the door fully the icemaker won't work as it dispenses ice through the door and if it thinks the door is open it wont dispense ( if you have traveled the world you should know this, it's common sense). Thank you for removing the garbage as per the agreement when you booked. We will work on raising the gorgeous sunken living room or putting a large flashing light so your WHOLE family won't misstep. I am not sure why so many of you had the same problem? There is markers and tape for this area please remember to be aware. Your Host Warren and Dana

Enjoyed the County
It was just what we needed. We have travelled with the group before but not since before the Pandemic and some can no longer travel out of Country. The facility was roomy and well stocked; We enjoyed the outside as much as the inside. My Husband I lived in The County for 9 years and if was good to explore our old haunts. One suggestion would be safety maps for the tubs/shower, and at least one bathroom with a safety grab bar. Thanks to the hosts for a lovely stay. JW

Girls weekend away
The property was beautiful. The rooms were as shown. We loved the hot tub. We couldn't connect to the wifi but that was ok (country living)! The kitchen was well supplied. We would definitely recommend this property.

Our stay at Summer Laughlin Cottage
This was a very good stay, we were close to the venue where our daughter was getting married. We had a varied assortment of guests including family and friends. We enjoyed the hottub and various local "critters" including squirrels, chipmunks and birds. Two fridges were very handy to hold all our food and bevvies. Lots of beds for everyone. Spacious and a beautiful place to stay.
We all loved the space in this place. Fully furnished and well managed. Owner was respectful, responsible and responsive to the needs. Unfortunately we were not able to use the lake as this place was not waterfront and couldn’t use the passes for the beach as it was very windy and cold however we really enjoyed the hot tubs. Overall a beautiful experience.

Scenic, quiet and comfortable space for friends and family get away.
We were so happy to stay at Warren’s place for a girls weekend / winery trip. We were very well hosted, knew what to expect and loved the spacious home for our comfort. The back yard and patio space wEre a highlight, and the fire pit with hot tub was a hit with our guests. Thank you for the comfortable stay. We will stay again.

We recommend the washrooms to be upgraded adding a shower stall to the washroom attached to the Master bedroom. Directions to Garbage disposal was mislead and we were unable to dspose the Garbage, which made us to go to sandbanks provincial Park at a additional cost to us. There were no complimentary bottles of wine as mentioned in one of your information sheets.

Nice property but not clean
First impression is that the property is very nice. Big Tv, nice fridge, great location. Cleanliness should always be paramount and based on previous reviews, the owners have not improved. The fact that there is a charge for not washing towels including those in the kitchen and the reliance is on the previous guest to ensure the sanitation of these items is not acceptable. The towels were not clean and smelled like they were just hung dry from previous use. No soap to even clean the towels and when texted the owner, was told that there should be one pod in laundry area. There was not. Stains on carpets in every room that are quite extraordinary and this was on previous comments from some time ago and nothing done about it. Bed skirt is master should be yellow but is yellow and black. Long dark hair in master bathroom but no one with long dark hair. Mattress in one bedroom torn and stuffing coming out with a stained foam on top. Had to wash sheets in downstairs bedroom and someone’s sock under the sheets. Dishwasher needs repair, again a previous comment. Dryer does not work well so have to shower before eight on day of leaving to wash and dry towels to check out before ten. Had to hang dry towels and leave them. Loose stones in front, a wire holding one of the chairs in front together, a couple of broken chairs in back left to the side, and couches with stuffing sagging out the bottom. The first text to one of the owners was asking about firewood and in the answer was to ensure to read the rules so as not to be charged extra fees. This property could be so nice if guest’s comments were taken and some money was spent on improving and cleaning the property.

Thanks for the review, I see that you were a weekend rental near the end of the summer, we have the carpets professionally cleaned every fall when the rental season is over. We have tried to steam clean between rentals but there is simply not enough time to dry and we don't want anybody slipping because of this so safety first. Please make sure you read the directions for the dishwasher as it wont work if the start button is pushed prior to closing. It is a Samsung top of the line dishwasher with WIFI only 2 yrs old. Please watchout for the lose stones outside as it is a gravel driveway.

Disappointing
The property is in a good location and Sandbanks park passes was a bonus. However, the house is very "tired" and just plain unclean. The carpets were very stained and didn't appear to have been vacuumed. The dishwasher didn't work well, half the bbq was cold. The three upstairs bedrooms were shabby, the larger one had a pile of sand under the window. The main bath tub/shower drain was clogged leaving you standing ankle deep in backed up water. However, the LR tv is huge with good program selection. A second fridge in the laundry area is also handy. The house has a lot of potential if it was cleaned up, inside and out.

Great weekend!
My friends and I booked this cottage for a birthday celebration and it was perfect! Check-in was a breeze, the place was really nice and spacious, with a great outdoor area (hot tub, BBQ, fire pit). We also took advantage of the kayaks/SUPs being included in the rental (~20mins walking distance from the cottage, or a super quick drive). Would absolutely stay here again, thanks Warren & Dana!

Great rental property for group of friends!
We decided to have a mini reunion w/ college friends who are all retirees !Since half of us live in Montreal and the other half in the GTA, Picton sounded like the perfect place to spend 3 nights and 4 days with our respective spouses! We raffled off the Masters’ suite to be fair! The 5 rooms + basement were convenient for us 6 couples! The facilities were amazing- good quality kitchenware & appliances! We brought our own linens & towels though there were more than enough of that in the house! We even brought our own tablecloth for the dining table! The large TV screen in the living room kept us well entertained one stormy night! We were only in our respective bedrooms to sleep so the TVs in the bedrooms were never used which was ok because they didn’t work anyway! Upon arrival, we double-sanitized the whole house. There was trash left in the garbage bin in the laundry room- probably from the previous guests! We just took it out along with our own garbage for fear that we might be blamed for leaving it there! We even organized the top cupboard where bowls & casseroles are and also where the pots & pans are !! We also wanted to do the other cupboards but ran out of time! We only got to use the grill outside once because the tank was almost empty. Having 2 good size refs was really good for such a big group! Overall, we all had a wonderful time and will probably rebook again! Thank you Dana!

Good option for large groups but many hidden fees and camera near the hot tub
This is definitely not the nicest property in terms of maintenance. Many stains on the carpets, the furniture is old and overall you can tell they put little effort into upkeep. On the plus side, it's one of the only options in the area for a large group so it gets the job done. Think of it as a small step up from camping and you will be satisfied. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is no soap, toilet paper, paper towel or garbage bags at the property so our group planned to bring our own. As well there is a $50 fee if any of the towels are left unwashed so we also brought our own. The garbage situation is not ideal as they list two separate locations to bring the garbage (one being a nearby trailer park and then a map to Bloomfield). The garbage also needs to be sorted into bins when you bring it to the trailer park so it's best not to actually tie the bags up since you just need to empty the recycling when you get there. There is also hidden fees for moving the furniture or putting the kitchen utensils and cutlery away in the wrong locations of $75 and $50 respectively. This is not something mentioned until you actually book the property. Lastly, there is a security camera outside near the hot tub. The policy for VRBO is that all security cameras and their locations are to be disclosed but I don't believe this is the case with the listing when we booked. The camera seemed to be pointed away from the hot tub but at the same time there was no way to confirm the range of the camera or whether the hot tub was in view of the camera or not. Overall, the location was great for our group and we were happy enough with our stay other than the issues I've mentioned above

Thank you for your review, we appreciate you noticing there was no soap as stated in the rental agreement. The property is exceptionally cleaned before and after each rental and the carpets are cleaned in the spring before the rental season and after the busy rental season. I noticed you arrived in Sept. There is only one location for the garbage and it is clearly described with a map and an address to the campground just down the street and there are plenty of people at the campground to ask where the very large green bins and recycling are. Recycling is mentioned in the rental agreement and recycling has been around in Ontario for many many years. The Camera is unpluged so no need to mention, it is for the winter tennants. For all future renters interested in this property please read the rental agreement when booking. We look forward to your arrival.

Great Time Away
Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay again in the future. The area was beautiful, there was plenty of room for all 14 of us. The area was quiet and peaceful. The yard was nice for the kids to play outside. But there were a few things that need attention. The bedrooms upstairs were really warm, had it not been for the fans in the rooms many of us would not have slept well. The washing machine was dirty and we ended up having to clean it before using it. The dishwasher did not clean well, we had to pretty much wash the dishes before putting them in.

This property is only a five minute drive to the Sandbanks Provincial Park. House is spacious and accommodated our family beautifully. We spent all our time at the park which has so much to offer.

Nice getaway!
The cottage was very spacious . We were a group of 10 and we had a great time . We went to the Westlake Water Sports location and we used all the water sports equipment that was available . Warren and his staff were wonderful, receptive, and a pleasure to communicate with. The cottage was what we expect a cottage to be with upgraded amenities. Many problems, big deception
When we arrived, the AC was “running” but the house was at 26 degrees and no fresh air was coming out of the vent. The night was super hot and we did not sleep well. The next morning I contacted the owners and they sent a tech guy on Monday so the first 2 nights were without AC. The dishwasher never worked properly. The owners told us to close the door properly (!) and despite our attempts, at best, it would clean about half of the load. On the 2nd day at the house, it started to present a problem symbol (LC) with a loud bip noise every 5 seconds. The only way to stop it was to turn the breaker off. The owners told us that it had happened in the past and to wait and see. We ended up washing all of our dishes by hands for the full week, not fun when you are a party of 10. After the first day at the beach we washed our beach towels and put them in the dryer. We tried everything but the dryer would not start. I contacted again the owners and was told that there was probably a lot of sand at the bottom (not by us, we never were able to use it) and that they would need to send a repairman to look both at the dryer and the dishwasher but they never did. Each time a new problem emerged, we tried to make it work before contacting them but we learned each time that these were issues that they had already have in the past. You also have to "drive" your garbage to another unclear location to avoid fees. The most concerning thing was the fact that they never told us, prior to our arrival that this year, you need to make a reservation if you want to visit the Sandbanks park even if you have passes (and this house include 2 passes). We learned that through a friend who was informed by her renter of this new procedure. If we had not done that prior to our arrival, we would not have had access to the park the whole week. When I asked the owners why they never told us they said that they did not want to provide information since things were changing. Out of courtesy, they could have send a quick message to advise us to look into it. The house is there for the renters to make money and they have no consideration for the individuals who are renting. When you arrive at this property you will not find a book with instructions. There is only one page listing all the additional fees that you could be charged if you do not clean the bath towels or else. This is the 13th year that we have rented a house in Sandbanks and it was by far the worse experience.

great cottage at a perfect location
very spacious cottage just minutes from sandbanks beach and the owner was easy to get a hold of whenever we had a question. The place could use a some improvement on the overall cleanliness especially outdoors but my family had a great time overall and recommend it to anyone else looking to get away from the city!

The property is very large and offers lots of room for guests. If you have a big group you won’t be disappointed. We were a group of only 4 and were able to spread out very well. We enjoyed the outdoor space and great weather. A few things were broken in the house but overall it was a good stay.

Disapointed in the cleanliness and upkeep of the home
there not being hand soap or soap of any kind in the bathrooms was a major inconvenience, certainly under the circumstances there should be an abundance of soap provided at a residence. On the VRBO website there is disclosure on how rentals will be required to provide sterilization products for guests, with that and under the circumstances we assumed we would at least have soap. There was a little bit of dish soap but hand soap should be supplied. The cleanliness of the cottage was not to our standard, upon arrival there were areas in which you could tell were not cleaned. Crumbs and items on the floors from previous tenants. The showers were not clean at all. Particularly the one larger shower had drainage issues, only two of us decided to have a shower due to the condition. The shower head would not eject water sufficiently. The house had a foul smell, particularly a wet dog, or musty smell. The back sliding doors were almost impossible to open or close to get in and out. The oven (we understand we were aware before arrival) was not easy to use. We were unable to depict the temperature properly making it difficult to cook. The beds in the guest rooms felt as though they were wood boards, no one slept in them at all as they were not comfortable whatsoever. While enjoying the hot tub we were surrounded by an abundance of spider webs, dead bugs and debris hanging above and around us on the siding of the home, which took away from the tranquility. There were other noticeable discrepancies, those were just to name a few. The cottage requires some serious upkeep overall.

Good Location, bad owners
Good location and spacious house by the lake with nice view, but poorly maintained. Old/broken appliances/ amenities. Bathroom door did not work, hot tub stopped working, propane tank was empty. The owners are conniving and rude and try to find opportunity to blame their guests for pre-existing issues with the property. If you want to rent, take pictures and document everything wrong about the place, at the time of check-in, to avoid hassles later on with the owners.

Thank you for your review and although we take all reviews into account you comments were misguided due to the fact we had to charge you for the broken knob on the oven. The hot tub was not working that evening because water was splashed on the electrical components causing the breaker to trip. There were also several people eating their dinner in the hot tub with floating cashews and lettuce such disrespect on your part. The hot tub was brown when you left late leaving us no time to clean. We try so hard to accommodate all guests but you were very ignorant and disrespectful. This review has no merit

I went as describe in map that is close to their water sports facility. Man was after us assuming we are coming from different planet to throw garbage. Tried to call both numbers of owner. Of course, no answer. After text I received msg saying that, there are no complain in 10 years. So, behaving like I am fool but luckily me and all my friends own place in Toronto so, we know how garbage system works. Except the fact they need to improve map for garbage and little facilities to improve and need cleanliness, we can consider to spend time but not enjoy vacation completly.

Great Rental!
This was a great rental property that was close to the water/had a view (not waterfront). The house was big enough for the 12 of us that were there. Beautiful home but personally in need of renos.. the house had a musty smell in the master bedroom, maybe it was because of them recently cleaning the carpet but it was very strong. Overall a great experience with lovely owners thanks !

First of all, this is not a waterfront property. No access to the water. The listing needs to be changed so that this is clear! That was the major disappointment of this property. The cleanliness was the minor. This property needs a major upgrade. Layout is nice, lots of space. Plenty of utensils and dishes to use. There are no toiletries at all. (Soap, toilet paper, napkins, etc). The owners were very nice and easy to deal with. The kayaks and paddleboards, that were about a two minute drive away, were a huge bonus. But our group was really looking forward to a lakefront/lake access property.

Thank for visiting our waterfront property, please keep in mind you are renting the property this is not a hotel with daily maid service(soap, napkins, etc) you must bring we do supply a few rolls of toilet paper to get you started as per rental agreement. T access our owned waterfront you must not walk on the neighbours property but travel between them on our owned waterfront.

Great memories made here!
This house was large enough to hold our five families comfortably. Although it was not waterfront, we were able to access water to kayak and fish every morning. Yes, the carpet had stains and the wifi barely worked but the large spacious rooms, large kitchen, hot tub and firepit made up for it. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great location. Parc passes and free access to kayaks were a huge plus. Property not always equipped for larger groups (chairs, kitchenware). Would need better upkeep and updating (make sure appliances are running smoothly). Internet connection did not work

Very good stay overall, but without direct access to the lake
The property is wide, all it's needed is there and 2 showers (1 bathroom does not have shower but only a tub) are enough for 7-8 people (provided that each person does not spend 20' using hot water). There is a nice lakeview from the living room but, unfortunately, there is no access to the lake as 2 properties are built just in front of this one. Anyway is not a major concern as the Watersport center is 4 minutes drive from there. I have particularly appreciated the kindness of property owners.

Beautiful property near Sandbanks
We had a wonderful week at this property, which is secluded on a small street, close to the Sandbanks provincial park. Were very grateful for the park permits included, which helped us avoid the lines up. The local wine left for us was a nice touch. Overall, our group enjoyed our stay.

Great Family Vacation
Me and my husband booked this cottage for the week with our two little girls and my family and his family. We all had a wonderful time. It was easy to contact the owners whenever we needed. We were close to all beaches as well and the city and stores whenever we needed to get out. The only concern was we wish we had access to the waterfront and also the house had many ticks. I was worried because of my kids but we were able to kill them everyday without anyone getting bit. The internet would lose connection sometimes but that was because of the location of the cottage so that was not a problem we made it work. Also the washer and dryer worked great but you will have to ask the owner for the setting of the dryer because it only works on a certain setting. Overall our stay was great and we would highly recommend again.

Waterfront Description = NO LAKE ACCESS
When booking a vacation on an app one must rely on an accurate description of the location. Without this, trust in the entire process disappears. Case in point, the description for this property states "This House rental is Located in Prince Edward County on a 5-acre, secluded South-eastern Lake Ontario waterfront property, only 5 minutes from Sandbanks Provincial park, 10 mins from Picton. " The Location Type section has the following descriptions: Lake View, Lakefront, Water View, Waterfront. The deceitful words are LAKEFRONT and WATERFRONT, when in actual fact there is only a view of the lake and no access but instead a plethora of NO TRESPASSING signs to greet us. The property owners were pleasant to deal with, but the overall cleanliness of the property left a lot to be desired even though we were told that the previous guests left the place in a disaster. In short, the only saving grace of our vacation was that Sandbanks Provincial Park has a fantastic beach.

Wonderful Way to Relax
Our family and friends will remember the two weeks we spent here for a long time and we hope to make it a regular part of our summers. The house was a beautiful country home. Everything was super comfy (the living room furniture sucked you in and you didn't want to get up). Building a fire inside in the beautiful stone fireplace while watching the sun set through the view in the living room windows was the perfect way to end out the day. My children loved the hot tub and running around the yard playing hide and seek. The beach passes and discounts for boat and water sport rentals allowed us to really enjoy our time out on the water. The hosts are super busy people but they always responded to all our questions as soon as possible and addressed any issues. Our only sour moment of the trip was finding out that there were no other weeks available this summer for us to rent!!

Très propre. Convivial, aire ouvert. Climatisation très bonne. Plusieurs chambres fermés 5 en tout. Cuisine bien équipé, sauf pour le four qui n'est pas très puissant. Des points à améliorer, retarder l'heure de départ à 11h00 au lieu de 10h00. Ameliorer l'éclairage dans la cuisine. Bien nettoyer l'extérieur de la maison. Fenêtres, BBQ, tables et chaises. Suggestions : faire un espace de jeux ex: volley-ball. Balencoire, hamac etc.

Very Dirty
Was gonna have a blast coming to the cottage even seeing it from outside. The moment we walked in worse experience ever. The rooms, floors, washrooms, backyard all had bugs spiders ants. The owner mentioned it was cleaned but really it wasn’t. The dryer wasn’t working and the washrooms had bad odour. All the walls out the house had spider webs and bugs. We got charged for moving furniture; ridiculous. They charged us for garbage; again ridiculous. Overall experience wasn’t great. Won’t recommend this place. But the lake was amazing. Would rather camp then stay in that cottage.

Thank you for your review, Please remember to read the rental agreement our cleaner cannot move furniture as stated in the rental agreement. Moving the heavy furniture back requires 2 men hence the additional charges. As for the cleanliness of the property we do understand your frustration and the basis of these comments. Shabby; in need of a lot of cleaning and upgrading.
First impression as you walked in was that this looked very nice. But after a few hours of checking things we,as a family, were quite disappointed, mostly with lack of cleanliness. Ice machine for fridge broken; the entire backyard was too dirty to spend time on until we cleaned it - we wouldn't use the BBQ until it was thoroughly cleaned; the hot tub had one jet working, and that was very weak. We left the house cleaner than when we arrived. But one of the things that really should be dealt with is the step going down fr om the dining room to the living room. It is very difficult to see where the step ends when you are approaching the living room, we all missed it at least once, my sister took such a bad tumble that she fell and hit her head on the stone fireplace and we had to take her to the nearest hospital for stiches. There NEEDS to be a coloured strip or some other indication where the step ends; and it's very unfortunate there is a stone fireplace so close to the step - an accident waiting to happen. So although there is much to be disappointed about our family enjoyed our stay. It was a reunion, even a cousin from Scotland was there. But in all honesty I doubt we would stay there again. Thank you for your review. We read all reviews and take into account what needs to be improved. The entire backyard patio stones have been resanded to make the appearance more exceptional. The family room has a beautiful sunken seating area and this is the first time anyone in 15 yrs has taken a tumble but we will make sure all future guests are aware of this step. The hot tub is working properly and we ask all guests to turn on both pumps and open the air bublers in order for the tub to work properly. The same situation for the brand new black stainless steel 4 door fridge please make sure the ICE LOCK is not on and if it is hold for 3 seconds and the LOCK WILL TURN OFF. We will keep improving this gorgeous property in order to make every guest have the most wonderful vacation.

Great Place
We are a family of 7 and all our kids brought friends and so we totalled 14 all over the age of 18. This cottage was spacious and well put together. Kids loved playing basketball in the back while we soaked in the hot tub or had a little fire. Warren was easy to get a hold of for a couple of minor things which i needed help with. Overall the location and property are amazing. Yes, carpets are a bit tired and other trivial little things that are not perfect but if you look hard enough you can find fault in anything. And its end of season so im sure they will he corrected over the winter. If you want a 5 star hotel then cottaging at this price is not for you. But we were there to have a good weekend of fun and laughs and thats exactly what we had. Hopefully, we will come back to this location again next year. Thanks Warren!

With a little love this cottage would be wonderful
We enjoyed the free pass (2 cars) to Sandbanks Park and Willy's Waterpark with the option to rent canoe / kayak / stand up paddle for free. Proximity to the beaches. We went there by bike. Beautiful bike paths I recommend Lakeview. However, from the chalet to the slopes I recommend at least 10 years, because busy. Beautiful and spacious cottage, we were 12 and very comfortable. It lacks photos of a room with queen bed. There is a divan bed in one of the bedrooms and in the basement a couch turns into a futon. New fridge / dishwasher / washer-dryer. However, the cleanliness of the place and the maintenance is missing. Doubtful odor when arriving and the carpets have several dark circles. Non-functional washbasin in a bath room and water flow problem. (1 shower at a time and we do not take water elsewhere in the cottage). The spa was very popular, but it would increase the frequency of maintenance, odors after a few days of use, leave instructions for the occupants. Improve instructions at the reception and management of garbage / recycling. (Fix the lock door entry problem). It's a shame, if we gave a little love to this cottage, it would be wonderful!

House was generally as shown in pictures but in a fairly run down state. The AC did not work and it was close to 30 Celsius during our stay. Owner was fairly responsive and seemed like a nice guy but promised to send someone in to fix the AC but it never happened.

Thank you for your review. We had installed a brand new NEST thermostat this season for the comfort of our guests and the first use of this system needed to get the bugs out. The air conditioning was fixed and ran better than expected all summer. This was a 4 day rental during a weekend and the technician was at the property the next business day faster than we expected.
