Monsieur Jean is centrally located in Old Quebec. It’s 5 minutes to Notre-Dame de Québec Basilica-Cathedral, 10 minutes from Chateau Frontenac, and steps away from Rue St. Paul which has several shops and restaurants. The hotel is beautiful and whimsical. The story machine by the heart in the lobby will provide you with a short story anytime of the day. Don’t forget to find the jewel or bijou in your room for a surprise in the hotel restaurant! The rooms are uniquely charming , extremely clean and beautiful. The staff were very kind and helpful.

The hotel is a lovely stylish property in a great location in the old city. The deep blue color of the cabinets and some of the walls was lovely. While we enjoyed our superior corner room with the wonderful panoramic view, there were slight shortcomings. Not having a landline in the room was inconvenient with contacting reception. Having a curtain instead of a door to the bathroom was not preferable. Likewise, there only being a partial partition for the shower caused the floor to get wet. The king bed while large with very nice bedding, was too soft for my liking. Loved the Nespresso coffee maker in the room, but it was a bit of a hassle getting a coffee and juice during breakfast. Servers seemed annoyed by the request. However the breakfast room is beautiful and the spread was ample and tasty. Overall I recommend staying here.

Hotel design is so chic and modern.staffs are kind and helpful, location is Amazing and walkable to Fairmont hotel and shops. Bar is really good. The only thinks they charged us extra 50$ for my dog stay and they didn’t prepared a bed or specific facility for him . Seems I had to call before and asked them. They charged for toothbrushes and toothpaste which is normally free of charge. By the way I personally recommend them and we enjoyed our stay.
