Self proclaimed 5 star. Not so much. Walls not sound proof. Listened to the TV in the next room. Most service people disinterested. Little to no help with the winery activity or restaurants.

El hotel se encuentra en una de las bodegas más importantes de la ribera del duero, pero tiene sus oportunidades en cuanto a servicio, amenidades y actividades disponibles. Por ejemplo, no tienen staff que puedan ayudarte con las maletas, ni nada por el estilo.

Top weekend: food, wine and spa. What else?
Great couple of days. Good food, better wine and top quality spa. And the room was clean, nice and cozy. It even have full blinds! Only small area of improvement, most rooms are in the aisle communicating with restaurant so it can be a little noisy during the early morning. Also, emergency light in the room was too bright during the night.

during the harvest the winery is extremely busy! a stroll in the wineyard was a highlight for us. The modern building lacks character and although quite new, maintenance could be better. free wine tour at 17:00 daily is exclusively in Spanish. Free minibar is a nice touch. you can rent a bike for 5 Euro per hour - money well spent! Traditional restaurant onsite is OK + , unfortunately the choice for vegetarians is very limited...

El hotel solo tiene un solo lugar para comer. Esta lejos de Peñafiel, como a 15 -20 minutos en auto. No hay servicio de taxis, el hotel recomienda a un taxista que cobra caro por el servicio . Un viaje al Castillo Peñafiel cobra 40 euros. Cuando llamamos al hotel para pedir información nunca contestaron y tampoco por correo electrónico. El servicio es pobre.

Too many stars .
Is not that it is a bad hotel, rooms are very clean and spacious, austere for the rating, beds comfortable.still the five stars are in my opinion too many for the overall performance/ quality of the facility and its personnel.

Fine hotel but needs to train for five stars.
The hotel had all the facilities to be a five star hotel. However, the service and behaviour at the place - all over - was not according to the service we normally tend to experience at places in that category. The Way of adressing People. The breakfast serving was especially poor. And the breakfast was not of a good quality. We visited the Michelin rated restaurant The Taller, at the hotel. The food was special but the serving and timing of serving not according to Michelin standard. The appropiate Wine was not derved to the food and we good it late for seven out of 8 dishes.

Hotel a la altura de su vino.
Lo mas destacado en nuestra visita fue el trato del personal, la visita fue excelente (merito de nuestra guia). El desayuno también fue excepcional y el trato de la camarera en el bar tanto a la atura de excelencia. La habitación, sin lujos destacados, está muy bien. Quizás lo único mejorable son las vistas que teníamos desde la habitación a una zona donde se amontonaba basura. Detalle digno de mención la botella de 3/8 de Arzuaga crianza, así como las copas para degustarlo, esta sublime Gracias por todo

La habitación increíble y la atención del personal del hotel y spa en general. En restaurante muy pobre en su atención para los precios que tiene; estuvimos más de 3 horas para una ensalada, huevos revueltos con setas y dos principales de pescado... Sólo había un camarero para todas las mesas, y no es un sitio barato de carretera, nos decepcionó mucho el servicio tan escaso y lento.

La mejor decision de enoturismo. Desde la llegada fuimos cordialmente recibidos y nuestra habitación estaba lista. La comida las catas y los recorridos son altamente recomendados así como nuestra experiencia en el Taller donde fuimos muy bien atendidos por Manuel quien nos guió y recomendó las mejores tapas que he probado así como su maridaje con Los diferentes vinos de Arzuaga. Lo mismo sucedió en el restaurante principal en donde fuimos muy bien recibidos por Yolanda quien muy amablemente nos consiguió una mesa en minutos y se preocupó por que todo saliera acorde de principio a fin, y a quien le envío mi especial agradecimiento. Muchas gracias a todos por su excelente servicio y atención la pasamos de Maravilla !!!!!

Mala suerte, pero imposible descansar
Partiendo de que las instalaciones están muy bien, la cata más visita a la finca también, nos fue imposible descansar por el ruido de alguna máquina durante la noche, algo impensable en un hotel de 5 estrellas. El problema fue tal que a las 3 de la mañana nos tuvieron que cambiar de habitación. Lo que sí me pareció impresentable que lo único que nos dijeron al día siguiente en recepción fue " que raro porque no nos ha pasado nunca", que se dejarían algo encendido en cocina. Era el ruido de una máquina o extractor que se encendía cada 10 minutos y duraba 4 ó 5. Creo que algún tipo de detalle por su parte habría sido lo lógico.
