Although the hotel seems well lit, it is in a very sketchy area with many undesirable people and we did not feel safe. The room was fairly clean but in disrepair (broken shelf in bathroom, hair dryer did not work, drain cover in shower was off, holder for shampoo was broken so shampoo was not in the shower. AC unit was also extremely loud but we had to have it on otherwise the room was musty and hot.

Check-in was easy, the pool and hot tub were not open. We did search by that being an option but it was too cold to use anyways so was not a big deal. We also got a late check out just for an hour but they did not communicate that so a house cleaner opened the door while we were in the room.

Looks like the property has some needed repair and up keep projects going on. The swimming pool was under repair, parking was cramped. Generally the hotel is in need of maintenance on appearance. The room I had seemed clean and everything worked. Only draw back was some pesky bugs that kept waking me up. The property, with some investment in maintenance would be good. It is a bit difficult to figure out how to enter the property, as the entrances have acute angles on a curving roadway.

I drove into town for a family function and was denied a room because my address is more than 75 miles from the property. This has left me and my Disabled father with NO WHERE TO STAY…I am very UNHAPPY and will not recommend….and I counted 7 out of state vehicles in the parking lot!

Crazy room mix up...
The reservation we had was given away on a Friday night, despite my calling to say we were arriving late. I'm in a wheelchair so 2nd floor didn't work. Called sister motel and saved queen bottom room for us. We rushed over. Then didn't have room? Gave us 2 double, 1 slept in. We slept in the other. That was all they had. We took it. All that took hours. Morning manager was VERY apologetic about it all. We will give another chance here.

Red roof surprised me with how easy it was to stay here . Parked right in front of our room. Ice machine was good, coffee in the room and microwave plus the fridge . Great rate for the stay . Front desk guys were helpful !
