"Lovely gite, nice couple very friendly but unfortunately whilst decor etc was lovely for me the basics need tweaking a bit ie: no freeze box, no blinds in the bedrooms, no WiFi and I had to climb into the bath to set the taps for the children to have a shower/bath which I found quite difficult with an arthritic hip. We want to come back during the summer to do the zip lining and other activities in the warmer weather. I wish there was more food options. "The place was ideal for us. It had the most amazing outdoor areas where we could dine and gather to relax. Temperatures reached 38 degrees and the pool area and decking had plenty of shade and beautiful views looking over the river in the distance. There were two BBQ areas and the kitchen had everything you needed. You could walk to the town where there were a number of restaurants and a short drive across the river to a local supermarket. "We fell in love with this old Priory as soon as we arrived. It was extremely peaceful. The grounds were extensive with the river running through the grounds. We particularly liked the little chapel & hope that if we return this will have been restored. Our gite was very clean & comfortable. Gilles was a good helpful host. We will go back."
