Even though I arrived before check-in time, Angelo & his assistant let me into the room early, encouraged me to explore nearby attractions, and gave excellent advice about the Metro & Trenitalia. Breakfast options were sufficient--I chose chocolate croissant with coffee, toast & marmalade--and served when I was ready.
Check-in & check-out were very simple. Elevator is small but mighty! Be aware that the hotel is up four flights of stairs, so the elevator will be your best friend at the end of the day.
Air conditioning was most welcome after walking around the Vatican or Forum all day.
Television was available, though I only used it one evening; English and Italian language channels available.
Bed was comfortable, with three pillows. Shower was smaller than most people will expect, but there was plenty of hot water.
I felt very safe the entire time of my visit. Location was very close to the Vatican & St. Peter's Square, so very easy to find my way around. Only a few Metro stops from the Spanish Steps, Borghese Gardens, and Trevi Fountain.
