Our room was huge! Very clean and very beautiful! We had a room that overlooked the river. The 4th of July lights were still on the old bridge - such a fun surprise!
The staff could not have been nicer. Kim did our check in. Ada was behind the desk when I had to ask for.a toothbrush. I couldn't have gotten better service!
Staff and clean and bright surroundings. Close to Berry College. Beautiful weather for Mountain Day and reunion activities. I was very pleased with everything. Pulling out of the parking lot on to Turner McCall Blvd. was challenging on Friday and Saturday. I will stay there again.
We stayed in the Yancey Suite. Very spacious and the bed was incredible. Keep in mind the house was built in the late 1800's, so don't expect modern conveniences and infrastructure. If you need to plug in any electrical gear, consider bringing your own 12-15' extension cord. Take your time touring the house and learning its history. You'll probably encounter friendly cats, chickens &/or their Great Dane. Light snacks, beer, bottled water and soft drinks are complimentary. One of the beers was a pleasant surprise - a very good American-made IPA from a smaller craft brewery! Our room had a small frig and a coffeemaker with Wolfgang Puck coffee. Top-quality toiletries are available in the bath (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, lip balm, etc). Chris was a most congenial host and he served us a very tasty breakfast. Four couples shared the big table in the dining room and we all enjoyed getting to know each other. It was a very pleasant stay and I highly recommend it.

We were in Rome for the NCCAA Track and Field National Championships. The hotel was only 5 minites from the Shorter track facilites. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. We had forgotten toothpaste, and the front desk gave us free toothpaste. Everyone in Rome, GA was so friendly! Really enjoyed our stay.
The only issue was the fact that 6 or 7 rooms were rented to high school students on Saturday night who had just graduated. They also let a large number of other students into the hotel. The noise and running throughout the hotel began at midnight and continued until 4 am. I spoke with the students twice as well as the front office clerk. The police came twice and cleared them all out on the 2nd visit. I had to drive to Atlanta at 5:30 am to catch a flight after having no sleep. The front office clerk (Tina) was helpful and apologetic but there was little she could do. Rooms never should have rented to high school students. In addition to the noise and rude behavior many were underage and drinking. My last night at the Rome, Georgia Comfort Inn ruined my experience which until that point had been very good.

Stayed for a few nights attending a college graduation and moving said graduate. TV left a bit to be desired, but the room was adequately serviced, the staff responsive to requests and it was in a relatively quite area. Overall nice experience and appropriately priced.
