The experience overall was extremely poor. The lift was broken and the room was on the thrid floor. When I got to the room the shower was not connected, the bin was broken and the bedside light did not work. I will not be staying again

Staff very friendly and helpful although I would recommend to avoid rooms facing the front of the property on or around the weekend when the streets below turn into one giant night club and outdoor dining scene. overly noisy.

There is no elevator so had to lugged all our suitcases. Place is dated which shows on the stained sheets and our bathroom door wouldn’t close. Also, outside was Uber noisy. The only good thing is location.

It's a typical 2-star hotel useful as a crashpad for tourists. Good location, close to metro and many restaurants. No AC (typical for Europe) but windows didn't open very large and on a busy street so very noisy in the evenings. The staff happily gave me a fan when I asked for one, which helped. Bathroom is TINY; be prepared to get everything wet when showering. Fresh towels provided when requested, as per normal for Europe. No elevator! Be prepared to haul your bags up stairs. Decent place, served my needs.

Location is good, but you are in the centre, so during the evening/nights, it is noisy. Also no airconditioning, which we did not expect. What was really our biggest issue were the dirty walls and dust everywhere. Dust from months behind the tv, windowsills and in window frame :(

The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The location was great as well, lots of restaurants, bars and shopping. The only thing not good was the street noise was really bad. I could hear everything. And noise continued on into the early mornings.

Well it's value for money as you pay low prices you'll receive that but for the most part it had the cleanliness that most hotels provide, I had to check for bedbugs and there were non. No major issues, hot water and clean toilet, with a fan of needed

Got bed bugs. My son got more than 80 bites and had to have all our clothing disinfected. No elevator. Horrible place.

The hotel is in a convenient location but neighborhood is very noisy during the night. Hotel staff are friendly. There is no elevator in the hotel. There is no AC in rooms. The bathroom was renovated and nice, but towels and linens were stained. The sofa bed was too narrow for an adult to sleep comfortably. No kitchen in the hotel so dining is not available. Overpriced for this quality.

It was ok. We had a windowless room which was absolutely fine, infact I think rather helpful with the surrounding noise! The towels and sheets etc are very basic, expect what you pay for. The reception staff were absolutely lovely. The room was a bit dirty, particularly under the bed and in the shower but again it was cheap!

The location was great, the front desk were helpful, nice and welcoming. The facility is not in top shape. No cups in the bathroom. No toilet lid, flickering lights. Dirty access to the rooms, the stair and hallways were dirty, no elevator.

Fair priced great central located hotel
Cant really fault the H3 Rotterdam considering the reasonably low cost and great central location. We booked a twin room for 2 nights. The room is small but the beds are comfortable, shower is awesome and staff are friendly. It was all about location for us with loads of great bars just meters away and Rotterdam central station a brisk 7-10 min walk.

Terrible service
I don't often post bad reviews but the attitude of the person in the front desk was awful and has prompted me to write this. Firstly upon check in I was told I had to pay a €50 deposit, I have no issue with this. I asked where the nearest cash machine was, he showed me an address in a folder for a cafe. He couldn't tell me if it was left or right up the road. He told me this was a free cash machine, it wasn't. It was €3.95 per withdrawal. I eventually found a free cash machine near by. I told the person this when I returned to the hotel and he didn't seem interested and didn't apologize for giving bad information. He took my deposit and gave me my room key. Didn't point me in the direction of where to go. I was on the 3rd floor with no lifts, not a problem for me but others may struggle. The room was poor, the plug only worked when the lights were on, the vent was loud but very inefficient. The shower door didn't cover the full door frame area so the bathroom was drenched after a shower. Light bulbs were missing in the ceiling and the bed wasn't very comfy. I will not be returning here, regardless of what price the room is.

Kralingse Bos parkrun weekend
An excellent hotel ideally placed for sightseeing. Close to the trams and metro. Lots of cafes and bars nearby. The Reception staff did an excellent job and were very helpful. The museum district is just down the street and is an ideal way to pass a day.

Good location. However … Had to initially move room as the first one was missing amenities, such as a safe. Room was not cleaned daily despite me asking for it to be. Disappointing for the money I paid.

Dear Mark, Unfortunately the safe in your initial room was missing, because it was broken. When you told us you did need a safe, we immediately provided you with a room that did have a safe. Also the housekeeping are available everyday between 11 and 15 to clean the rooms. If you have a do-not-disturb sign between these hours, they will obviously not clean the room. There is also the possibility to get clean towels, toilet paper and soap at the reception, if you did not want to be disturbed. I hope to have informed you enough and thank you for staying with us. Great place to stay in Rotterdam. The hotel looks like it had been recently renovated which was nice! The staff was very friendly and also let us store our luggage on the day of check-out so that we could explore more of Rotterdam without worry. The room was clean and spacious.

Would not book again
A OK stay for a night or two, but I wouldn’t book it again. The hotel used to be cool and nice back in the days, but now it is tired and needs maintenance, the carpet and curtains has permanent stains. There is no elevator so you have to walk up all the flights with your baggage.
