Nice but not great.
Hotel was nice with decent level of facilities but the food was a little hit n miss. A steak was inedible and one was very similar. No offer if discounting this awful steak from the bill. I can assure inknwi my steak and it was truly impossible to chew.

Complicated shower to operate and reviews of the restaurant made us drive to Troyes to avoid an expensive mistake , €47 each for 3 course meal is not good value ! The room was €178 and it did not include breakfast , a further €15 per person

Frustrated with booking
We liked our stay but were frustrated that on arrival at the hotel we were booked into a family room. We were only two my wife and I and only needed a standard room which were available but the hotel could not change the booking as it had been made online on the Hotels.com app. So we were landed with a room for five people. I tried to get a credit for the room difference to apply to our dinner but was unable to do so.

Large comfortable rooms with air conditioning - Very enjoyable evening meal. If your looking for a stop-over it is a far better option than other road side hotels

Good family stopover hotel
Nice hotel, very convenient split level room with clean and simple decor. Pool looked a little tired with limited changing facilities but was otherwise enjoyed by the kids. Perfect for an overnight stay with the family.

We stopped en route back to uk from Italy. Lovely location but isolated from nearest town so no choice to eat other than at hotel. Dinner menu very odd . Variety of ingredients n plates which did not complement each other. Food was neither French or European. Serious problem with wasps in dining room Air conditioning system had broken down so had very poor nights sleep as no fans were offered and room temperature was high.we were advised not to open our windows because of mosquitoes I did complain when paying bill and was given discount of our restaurant bill.which was good but did not compensate for lack of sleep or quality of menu Breakfast was ok.

Breakfast needs sorting!
4 of us in a super room, air conditioning was a bit noisy, staff very friendly, you can see that the Hotel is going to need an update / redec soon but don’t let that put you off, I would certainly stay again but one thing that annoyed me, the poor quality of Breakfast, runny scrambled eggs, only two choices of cereal, Coco Pops or Frosties, that’s it. The Hotel was busy and not enough to choose from including cheeses!

Good hotel in lovely location. Room was a good size and spotlessly clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We liked the hotel so much we booked rooms for our return journey.

Overpriced and does not worth your money
Overpriced for what it offers. We paid 130 euros/night without breakfast included and we wanted to use the Spa facilities, meaning the jacuzzi, sauna (not the body treatments). Surprisingly they told us that we not only had to book our access in advance, but also to pay extra to enter the Spa !! This was never mentioned during our check in and certainly is not mentioned at the website. There are indeed charges for the Spa access but one would have thought that if you stay in the hotel the access is included in the price. Well, it is not !! They showed us an external pool that we could use (during November...), which had leaves and dirt. The rooms and corridors which lead to the room access require a serious upgrade too. Overall, a total waste of money.

Great stopping off place
Excellent service at reception and in the restaurant. They were happy to speak English which helped us a lot. We were able to take our dog into the restaurant where she sat under our table. Good food and good choice to break our journey home from South of France. Interesting area that would be worth exploring.

Staff are SUPERB, lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble, perfect. Quiet location, quiet rooms, spacious, good relaxing public areas, food is first class, service great, reception area are detailed and very precise - perfect place. Sauna area is a great way to relax after a long drive, although was not open for 3 days and this was not advertised. This was frustrating as the hotel is a 25 min drive off course from going down to the Alps and cheaper options in Troyes, and they did not offer compensation (say money towards dinner) to offset this.

Very good bedroom, clean large room. The hotel is set in lovely grounds. The main problem for us was the attitude of the staff. Unwelcoming from the start of our stay until checkout. Reception and bar and restaurant staff included.

Friendly staff, lots of other kids to play with for our kids, nice room, nice area for walks - even though it was very muddy when we were there. Nice with the spa for mum & dad. Nice place for a couple of days of respite whilst on road trip.

Lovely hotel but terrible food
We enjoyed our stay the hotel was lovely and a lovely setting. But the restaurant food was appalling. I had a grilled sirloin steak and fries. The steak was too tough to eat and the French fries were not cooked enough and were white. They were obviously frozen fries. My wife had chicken which was not very good. The chef should be replaced.

Good hotel, except the restricted access to spa
The hotel is good value for money overall, it offers good facilities and food. The only flaw is related to the spa, which is advertised extensively in their website but in reality the access is restricted to just few people per hour which, in a so big hotel, means to have very little chance to enjoy it, eve if theoretically you paid for it. The fact that access is restricted should be displayed clearly in their website.
