The room is not what we saw in the pictures it wasn’t comfortable at all the bed was in bad condition we couldn’t sleep it make a lot of noise it was so old And the furniture in general was old and damage

Property in bad condition
The property is in a beautiful location surrounded by beautiful views. Unfortunately, the property condos are in need of major renovations. Everything is outdated. The pictures advertised no longer tell a true overview of the condos.

No central heating and cooling
The place has amazing views but it does need a lot of TLC. Especially the bathrooms. The neighbors are loud and there place could use some cleaning up so condos don’t look so dirty. THE PLACE DOES NOT HAVE CENTRAL HEATING and COOLING. I wish I would have known this before booking.

Disappointed...But the View is Spectacular!
The view was spectacular BUT we were sadly disappointed that the cleanliness of the unit was not good. We found possible mice droppings/tiny bugs on the kitchen counter and window sill. The bed sheets didn't look new. It looked like the covers were just pulled over to look like they were replaced. The screen door to the balcony was broken and was not returned back on the rails. My husband attempted to place it back on the rails but was not successful. The fixtures were out dated. The ceiling fans were wobbly. The jetted tub did not look clean. The jets had mineral deposit and the grout around the tub had evidence of mold/mildew. My husband and I were sadly disappointed and drove back home (3 hour drive). Until the owner of this property updates its units, my husband and I would not recommend this place at this time. We paid $200 for a 20 minute view of the mountains from the balcony of this unit. A request for a refund is pending...

The condo was clean, but the furnishings were ere old and in terrible condition. The bedding and towels were old and worn. The bathrooms were mildewed the jacuzzi tub dated and the jets looked rusted we do not use them because of the condition. They had one Small TV with remote controls that did not work, with only one channel to watch. The view of the mountains were beautiful however the property was poorly maintained. I was very disappointed. I do not recommend it. We will not return.

Awesome location, friendly deer around!
Awesome location! High above the town of Ruidoso but a convenient 10-15 drive away, the condos have a superb view of Sierra Blanca and the surrounding mountains. It is an old property - bathroom fitting and kitchen appliances are dated but we did not have any issues. Tastefully decorated with hardwood floors and that awesome view. Friendly deer around the property. We planned to stay one night only, but I to extend by one more because of how nice the location was. Friendly and courteous staff.

The checkin was helpful and nice, but the place itself was not properly cleaned and very shabby. Unbelievably low value for the price. View does not make up for it.

It was good. This place has an amazing view. Everything was good but our Heater did not work at the night. Hotel staff did not respond on that.

Great photography of the place, don’t be fooled
Great location, pretty awful place. It needs at least $1 million worth of renovations, and it will compete with the best. The beds were very uncomfortable and the furniture was very old and beat up. They gave us a roof over our head and that was about it. I would love to see the place in his heyday, when everything was nice and new. I will not recommend this place nor will I stay here again.

The best thing is the view. It is a much older property and has some challenges. The coffee pot filter was too dirty to use. It felt like something was on the carpet even though it looked like they just shampooed it. The bathroom tub was jacuzzi type but had missing parts (covers to the jets). The towels smelled clean but were very thin and would have preferred an extra one or two (there were no extras). For our purposes, we had a one night stay, so we got there at 5pm and left at 6am. Would not have wanted to stay longer.

Best decision! Great price!
The view is beyond beautiful, staff is friendly. Hospitality is great here, very communicative. Property is on the older side, but doesn’t take away from the stay as a whole. I will definitely be coming back here during the winter.

The carpet was disgusting and covered what appeared to be pet stains. It is outdated but there were tiles missing in the master bath. Did not match the pictures we saw when choosing. Nor did we know we would be in the 3rd floor - with lots of stairs- which needed work. Only saving grace was the view

Many items were in disrepair: sliding glass doors, screen doors, washing machine, refrigerator (froze all our food), door lock. Every time I would bring an issue up with the manager she would roll her eyes at me. Never again will I stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tiara del Sol. The views are outstanding! The property really needs an overhaul. If a little was spent on upgrades it would go a long way. The location is top notch.
