The pool and hot tub were very dirty. Room next door had been rented for the day. They left their barking dog while they used the pool. I would NEVER stay their again.

One of my guests got sick from the carpet and the bedding or bet it self almost instantly he got his whole body covered in red patches swelled and painful and the next morning he woke up with his left eye totally swelling

My traveling party reserved two rooms. We arrived at 3:00pm for check-in, and I was told that I would have to wait 10 to 15 minutes to check-in, even though I was the only person in line, or in the lobby at that time. The only issue I had with my room was that there was a roach scurrying around in the bedeside dwawer. In the other room, the bathroom floor was all wet due to a leak from the toilet. This should have been addressed before any guests were admitted to the room. They were placed in a different room. In that next room, the television was not working. When the issue was reported to the frond desk, the reply was there was nothing they could do. Very poor customer service. In the past, i have stayed at a Howard Johnson hotel in a different city without issue. I would not recommend this particular propery to any travellers visiting Sacramento.
