"This hotel is in a great location in Intra Murros, just a short walk to one of the main gates (be prepared for big crowds and cobblestone streets that are a bit tricky to negotiate with suitcases) The lobby is light and well decorated and there's a lift. Except for one notable exception - an older woman who was very unfriendly - the staff were great. Standout was Maria when we checked in. Excellent recommendations for restaurants etc. The room (we paid for an upgraded Superior) was very large...

"It was a great place in the middle of the walled city. Able to walk anywhere. Great crepes across the way!! I would suggest parking your car outside and not driving in the walled part. "

The intra-muros area of St. Malo is small, so everything is close - the ramparts and beach are a 5-minute walk and there is a wide selection of boulangeries and restaurants close by. Accessing the hotel by car was not available when we arrived unfortunately and parking ended up being three times what we planned on. Will come back nonetheless. "
