"Lovely house in the hills with all you need to recharge (including a new sauna near the pool), about 25 mins walk from nearest beach which we walked to several times. Read the house manual as gives lots of local tips on routes to town and beach. We spent quite a bit of time in the house using the pool, playing ping pong etc and it served us well! "Beautiful view and lovely pool. Rooms are small but clean and beds are comfortable. Great little kitchen fully stocked with all needed for basic food prep. Nice host as well. Finding this place and driving up the steep driveway is challenging to say the least. This was the only gripe I have. Otherwise, fine little place to stay right near St. Maxime. I would stay again."

"Stayed three nights at this hotel. Nice accommodating hotel staff. Due to COVID-19, there were very few guests and the hotel upgraded us at no extra charge into a room with pool view. Small room but comfortable bed. Even smaller TV but it had the function allowing you to change the language of someTV channels to English. "This hotel does not merit 4 stars simple on the basis of the accommodation. The room was so small it was even difficult to lay out 2 cases The shower head was broken.and the furniture left a lot to be desired. It was so close to the main road that sleeping was an ordeal. Unassuming but very comfortable!
"The bedroom was clean and the bed large and comfortable. The bathroom was recent with a good shower. The rooms are very simple and plain but lots of room for luggage, beach bags etc and the air conditioning worked well! The pool is large and well maintained with plenty of umbrellas and loungers. We were the only English people there for the week we stayed - didn’t bother us. We were only B&B so can’t really comment on the catering. It did mean that most people left pool area for 90 minutes or so at lunchtime and we had the pool to ourselves one day! It’s a 15 minute walk into the restaurants in Ste Maxime but it’s a flat walk and it was good to walk home after dinner. All of the staff we encountered were helpful, friendly and polite. They coped with our limited French and some spoke English. The bar staff were friendly and helpful (the bar is cheap). Reception staff also very good. Particular mention for the manager who was charming and had suggestions for things to do etc. We extended our stay by 2 nights and he quickly accommodated this and gave us a good rate. Having a free car park in Ste Maxime is great. We have stayed nearer the town previously and car parking is expensive so we were grateful to not have to pay €30-40 per day to park. We will be back. "
