The appt was excellent , clean and well equipped only thing it would benefit from was some mirrors in the bedroom. Valeria was lovely , helpful with advice on how to get to places and were to eat. Situation was great beside the railway station but quiet. Would recommend it as great place to stay

Spacious space
Valeria's art apartment is far more spacious than it looks on the images, with a generous main bedroom, good sized bathroom and a second bedroom with a wonderful view. It's a very short walk to the train station, which takes you to the places you wish to go (Pompeii is less than half an hour and Vietri Sul Mare on the Amalfi coast is one stop). It's also on the edge of the old part of Salerno, which is massively underrated. Lots of atmosphere at night.

Amazing accommodation in a great area!
We stayed for two weeks. The apartment was spotlessly clean and beds were comfortable. The A/C was amazing after a day out in the heat. Owners are very friendly and helpful. They gave recommendations of transport, places to visit and restaurants. The apartment is in Salerno, which is a beautiful city with place to visit and lots of lovely restaurants. We used it as a base to visit Amalfi coast, Sorrento, Capri, Naples, Pompei, Herculaneum and Paestrum. Salerno is perfectly postioned to visit all of these. The train is literally outside the apartment and is very convenient and easy to use. The first stop of the SITA bus is in Salerno so you can get a seat on the way to the Amalfi coast. Would recommend using a ferry on the return journey however as the buses get full quickly. We also took a ferry to Capri which was amazing. Perfect accommodation and a perfect holiday. My only request for the accommodation would be some mirrors in the bedrooms. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay in Salerno
Very nice and big flat, well equipped. Historical city centre few minutes walk and the bay area is not far either. Due to the nearby train stop we had an easy access to travel which was a nice surprise. We did not have any problems at all. Perfect local pizza take away place nearby 🙂

Nice quiet apartment close to the train
We enjoyed our stay at "Art at Home". The owner was very nice and provided us with just about everything we needed for our 10 day stay. In the heat of the summer, it was great to have cold AC. The elevator to the 5th floor was wonderful and being so close to the train station was great for our daily outings. We took it to Pompei and Naples. It is also very convenient to take it to the main Salerno station then walk to the ferry port and enjoy day trips to many stops along the coast including Minori, Almalfi and Positano. There were a lot of great restaurant recommendations from the owner. The ones that we ate at were excellent! If you want something different try Mo' Sushi for all you can eat sushi and apps. Use the Fork app to reserve and you can get a discount (up to 50%!). We also enjoyed the tapas menu at Taperia Mediterreane. The deli right around the corner from the apartment on the way to the train station was absolutely amazing! The prices were incredible too. We thought they made a mistake when it was less than $10 for 3 huge sandwiches. Make sure to put this on your list to stop at. Overall great apartment, good location and wonderful hosts.

Seeing Salerno
We enjoyed visiting Salerno. The apartment was in a great location for walking or taking a train. There was a market about a block away for basic grocery needs. There are restaurants and gelato shops all over.

Delightful, central apartment with great amenities
My two friends, my partner, and myself stayed at Valeria's incredible apartment for 10 days. The space was clean, beautiful, functional, and had amenities that we had yet to experience at any of our stays thus far (a/c, dishwasher, washing machine, hot water boiler). The apartment was literally across the street from the regional rail, making it easy to take day trips to Vietri, Pompeii, and other areas in the region affordably. Valeria and Edmondo were incredible hosts who gave us the best recommendations for food and activities in the area. Whenever we had a question they responded within the hour and were incredibly helpful. I can't recommend this space enough, and if I ever return to Salerno, this will be the spot I pick! Thank you for everything, Valeria and Edmondo!

10 days on the Amalfi coast
We enjoyed our vacation on the Amalfi coast. The apartment was perfectly situated and very well appointed. Everything we needed was there. We had one small incident with the washer and Valeria was quick to come and help us. If I was coming back to Salerno again I would definitely stay here. Ciao

Centrally Located Apartment with Awesome Hosts
My husband Joe and I stayed here for three weeks while studying Italian in Italy. After the nightmare apartment we stayed at before, Art at Home was our own slice of paradise in Salerno! Spacious rooms, kitchen, air conditioning, lift, WiFi that actually works, air conditioning, clothes washer, dish washer, and did I mention that they have air conditioning?!? Awesome home! Close to a local train station/metro, but easy walking distance to the beach and the centro storico. The hosts were more than gracious. They were super helpful and responded promptly to any request we had. The apartment itself is decorated with beautiful artwork. It's clear that the artist has an amazing sense of space and color. I particularly liked the two pieces in the bedroom. It was delightful to surrounded by art while relaxing in an amazing place.

The apartment is on the 5th floor (lift available). The rooms are clean, bright and welcoming. All are good sized. There is an extra 1/2 bath with a washing machine behind the kitchen, which is nice, too. It is only 100 meters from the Duomo-Via Varnieri, so that is very convenient. Also an short walk to old town and the many restaurants there. The owners were extremely pleasant and helpful and we appreciated their help with ideas on things to do in Salerno.

Appartamento bello, moderno e confortevole
Appartamento molto bello, moderno, grande e confortevole e situato in un'ottima posizione centrale. La casa è provvista di ogni comfort. Valeria è stata gentilissima ad accoglierci con dei dolci locali e a lasciarci della frutta biologica del suo orto che abbiamo apprezzato molto. Si è dimostrata anche molto flessibile con il check-out e sempre pronta a rispondere ad ogni nostra domanda. Lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque voglia visitare Salerno per qualche giorno e noi sicuramente ci torneremo!

Bel appartement et bon emplacement
Globalement très satisfait de cette location et commodités du quartier. Apparemment lumineux et climatisation dans toutes les pièces. A noter que l'appartement dispose d'une salle de bain et une buanderie avec wc. Lors de notre passage juste un petit désagrément sur la hotte aspirante qui ne fonctionnait pas, mais à part cela aucun problème. Je recommande.

Eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung
Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen. Sie ist sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Die Unterkunft ist in einer ruhigen Gegend.Alles ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wonderful flat in the heart of Salerno
This is a beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped flat near the city center of Salerno. The landlords are very kind and helpful. You find supermarkets, fish-shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars within a few minutes walking distance from the flat. The flat is located close to a regional train station from which Salerno central station can be reached in minutes. We enjoyed our stay in Salerno very much as the city is not only beautiful but also perfectly located for day-trips to Pompei, Napoli, Amalfi, or Paestum.
