As usual, the Courtyard provides a predictable, friendly place to stay. This particular location is beside a very noisy highway -- good for driving to other parts of town, but essentially hopeless for walking or jogging nearby. I did jog by the river, but the path is a bit sketchy. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Facilities are clean. The cafe downstairs offers hot breakfast and dinner / drinks.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the room has very thin walls so you can hear everything. Besides that the location of the hotel was pretty central to the attractions in San Diego.
