I booked this for a one-night biz trip because I loved the idea of sleeping in a pod. Gotta say, the pod delivered – it's pretty novel. And you can't beat the price. To be expected but still worth noting: the bed linens set up is _very_ hostel-like – unforgiving mattress, thin sheet, and slightly heavier sheet as a blanket. Woke up with that familiar hostel crick in my neck and back (... but I am getting older, after all). Locking up your suitcase with a bike lock is kind of a joke, considering people can still crack open your suitcase if it doesn't lock, but the lockers and in-pod safe were a nice touch. Women's rooms have a bathroom in them, so you don't need to use the communal shower for the entire floor. Service was good – everyone's friendly. It's adjacent to the world's saddest Chipotle, but I ate there anyway, obviously. I liked the location: literally a 4-minute walk from the Powell station. I felt safe enough. Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone who likes the idea of sleeping in a pod (like me) but make sure they understand that they're getting a legit hostel situation.
