The hotel is a colonial building that may have a characteristic smell since it preserves its architecture and its original wooden beams, including its unique pieces. About TV, the rooms are provided with Smart TV and you probably were expecting cable TV. Thank you for choosing us.

Good afternoon Elizabeth, we of course recall all of the changes and issues you had during your stay and we hope all the changes we provided werew sufficient. We hace since fixed the bed frame, it came to our attention around the time of your stay our pool pump was malfunctioning and has also since been repaired. We are sorry these inconveniences happened during your stay but we assure you they will not occur again and we would love to show you a better time when you return!

It likely is time for us to renew our online listing photos as they were taken about two years ago.We have changed much furniture and added and removed things here and there. The pool has been scheduled for maintenance and will be in tip top shape soon! We always appreciate when guests are completely honest about their stay. We do understand at times our infraestructure (such as wi-fi, plumbing) may have troubles. We are glad you saw some positives whilst staying with us Ashley. Typically we do not provide room service (including turning in towels) as night shift workers are quite literally running the entire hotel alone. If ever you need something, front desk is a short elevator ride away!

We apologize for the confusion we have temporarily closed the first floor bar while we search for a bartender. We apologize that housekeeping forgot to stock your soap however we are always a phone call away at front desk. And we would be more then happy to bring it straight to your room so you wouldnt even have to get up! I just finished checking your room lights and you are correct the one above the sink must have gone out before check-in however the rest of the lights are in working order. As well as the television. We are sorry to have lost a guest, and we hope in the future you can give us another shot so that we can wow you!

Natalie quite literally lives and breathes food, it is her passion and the only thing she loves more then cooking is people enjoying her food! I will be sure to let her know you loved her food. We of course also appreciate the comments about our property, we hope you had a lovely stay!

My understanding from this is that your aircon unit was malfunctioning? In this case we almost always try to solicit a room change, however looking in our system we see we had a full house. Were there truly no method of adjusting the air you should have been offered a discount.

We do apologize, we were down a maintenance staff member and we fell a bit behind on our maintenance that week. They have since returned and we have repaired said shower. We have also heard of the elevators preformance in the past and will remind upper management that it continues to be talked about. Thanks so much for the honest review. When tile and brick age, they can at times seem dirty when in fact it is simply scratched and chipped. We consistently spray for and maintain low humidity levels in our rooms to not harbor the growth of mold. Should you ever encounter the early stages that we may have missed, please contact the front desk to send a housekeeper to remedy the problem.

We do apologize for the behaviour of our staff, and have reminded them to be friently above all with guests. This being said however we have a strict check-in time to allow housekeeping to double check their work. We apologize for this, and if you need to check in before 3:00 p.m. you are more then welcome to pay the early check in fee.

We appreciate when guests are honest with their thoughts about our hotel. We always say that the elevators are slow sure, but safe. As well as the service, we try our best to be quick but at the very least we promise a great meal! Front desk is supposed to be on top of mopping and putting up signs when it rains, I have reminded all staff of their duties during times of weather.
