"My passport was stolen and staff members informed me that I could travel back to US with the police report. The police told me the same. Yet I was rejected at the airport and after traveling to the airport had to take a train to Milan and spend two days getting an emergency passport at the American embassy. The staff should know how to advise people who have this problem. We were greatly inconvenienced financially and timewise."

"We stay there whenever in Venice. The staff is friendly and accommodating to all requests. The terrace on Grand Canal is a wonderful place for hanging out and the hotel is an easy walk from St. Marks, museums and designer shops. Breakfast is included and abundant, and drinks and/or snacks outside on the terrace is a joy in good weather. The 7th-floor bar and restaurant provide a breathtaking panorama of the city. "
