The grounds and buildings are beautiful and very well-maintained. You feel as if you are staying in a park! The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is excellent, with good variety of selection, and very special meals.

Our stay was great. The location is awesome and there are plenty of hikes and beaches to explore a short drive or bike ride from the grounds. Businesses out there in Big Sur have been in for a ride with all those Hwy 1 closures and the little issues they have stem from that - uncontrollable situation; They still do a good job. If you are snack addicts, go to the small convenience store by the gas station and be prepared to spend a lot of money. Top #3 key lime pie I have ever had is located here... Don't miss it!
