"Great lodge, fab location"

"We enjoyed our stay. The hut is well equipped and had the weather been warmer we could have benifitted from the outside space. We felt they needed to think about slightly better storage and the couch/ bunk beds were probably six inches too high for comfort. The fold away table was also poor although it served a purpose. The hut had a slightly tired feel and would benefit from some upgrading - television for example."

"We stayed at the hut for four nights and found it beautifully designed, and to our surprise quite spacious compared to huts we've stayed in before. There is plenty of space for two people to sit around and relax and a very adequate kitchen (we only used the microwave, but there is a double hob and cooking utensils provided). "We dont complain as we wer bnb owners but this property for the price was very disappointing. Old food in the fridge, spiders inside no screens to keep insects out. No user manual and tv did not work. Wifi very week so had to go outside to connect. Shower waist broken and clogged so the base filled and overflowed with water into cabin. No bath mat so had to use a towel to clean up and share the other towel. Sink tap water pressure so weak can't even wash hands. Plaster work not finished and...

"We had a wonderful Christmas in the charming Shepherds hut whilst visiting family near by. We brought our slow cooker with us and managed to make make a Christmas dinner in the well equipped kitchen. Toasting marshmallows on Christmas Eve was a highlight!"

"What a brilliant little bolthole this was for three nights. Host was great and the property was perfect with lots of extras (thanks for the milk and the biscuits!). Easy to find, good parking, quiet, all the amenities you'd need. I'd rebook instantly next time l'm visiting"

"Beautiful cabin retreat, peaceful space, an array of wildlife in the garden. Lorna and Neil are perfect hosts giving privacy to enjoy the space also very knowledgeable of local history and great recommendations for places to see and local produce. Amazingly comfortable bed, beautiful decor and organic bathroom products, can’t recommend this place highly enough, hope to retire in the future."

"The owner was incredibly helpful and we valued his knowledge of the surrounding area/facilities-he was also available if required. Great to have parking and a short walk to Sandbanks beach and Ferry to Shell Island-glorious!! Our dog was in heaven!! Spacious property with everything we needed. I could have lived there forever! Highly recommend this property for an excellent base to explore Bournemouth and Poole-we had a truly perfect holiday even though the weather was...VERY British!!"
