I was arriving later then midnight and was told no one would be there so I had to book another hotel when I called about this I was told too bad it is in our policy which was not obvious the there lobby closes. I have NEVER stayed at a hotel that could not check you in whenever you arrived

This hotel was super convenient to literally all the tourist stuff we wanted to do in Santa Barbara! It was just a block or so from the beach and right across from a beautiful park and UCSB. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was basic. They served hash brown pucks that were decent. The eggs were not great but it was fine! There are tons of great places to eat within pretty easy walking distance.

The staff was excellent. Our only issue was with the room above us. We could hear people walking around into the late night...quite heavy footed. I would recommend trying to get a room on the third floor and avoid the possibility of lack of sleep. The hotel is a good value.

I want to start by saying the staff is great. The main issue is that there is no staff available after 12am. This became a problem since at 1:30am the night of our stay—which we had to wake up at 6:30am for a UCSB tour—these obnoxious women one level above us started screaming at each other and fighting for TWO HOURS straight. Nonstop screaming, door slamming, stomping, more screaming, and bothering alllllll neighbors with their drunk stupidity for two hours—and no one to call. I should’ve called the police, but we figured they would stop. After they finally quieted down, someone came down and banged on everyone’s doors at 3:30am. The staff is great, but if you have the misfortune of having inconsiderate jerks as neighbors, you’re screwed out of a good stay. Would not stay here again.

What a cute, quaint, and comfortable place in SB. Each member of the staff went out of their way to be nice and helpful. The breakfast selections were nice with something for everyone. Nice to have access to pool and hot tub. And free parking! Would stay here again.

I was in Santa Barabara on business trip and found this hotel close to the beach. I liked that is was very easy to check in, staff were all very pleasant and there was an elevator. I would for sure stay again.

The hotel staff showed a great commitment to customer service, and the breakfast was a great surprise. The location and our room (though, very clean) did not meet our expectations. Crossing by the 101 on our walk to State St seemed unsafe, also we could hardly turn around in the bathroom, and missed having a towel rack. We had issues with the bedding as well - the mattress pad bunched up uncomfortably and bottom sheet did not stay in place.
