"I am so glad I booked Hotel Gate of Sarajevo during my short visit to Sarajevo. I was picked up at the airport the night of my arrival by Nadir and upon hotel arrival, friendly Nadina checked me in. This is a no frills hotel but the room was perfect in size with a comfortable bed and I liked the wall decorations of different Sarajevo sights. MThe location is a 7 minute walk to Bascarsija where you immediately see the famous Sebilj fountain. The breakfast offered is decent. It was nice to come...

"The hotel was really far away from everything but I think the most frustrating thing was that the 24hr front desk isn't actually 24 hours. It's only staffed during certain hours and if your bus or train is late and you don't have a way to contact them you're pretty much screwed with fining anybody around. I wouldn't stay there again. I spent so much on taxis that I may as well have stayed at a higher priced hotel closer in to everything. There's not even a restaurant withing 20 minutes...
