"When I arrived to check in, the lady who runs the hotel greeted me warmly. I didn't realize they didn't speak English, and I don't speak much Spanish. But, it didn't seem to phase her one bit. She spoke warmly and waited patiently until I would nod in agreeance and say "si". I stayed a week, and every interaction was great. The room was very clean; modest, but great deal for the price.
