"What a lovely place to stay! We were a group of 7 girls here for a long weekend in February and we absolutely loved it. The cottage was a perfect base for Bere Island and a night out at mccarthy's. The terrace was stunning with sun flowing in to the living room all day! We ate in a lot too as the kitchen was really well stocked with equipment and spices. Thanks Rercy :)"

"This was our third time staying here and we adore it. The property itself is fantastic and the grounds are stunning. We love seeing the animals and being welcomed by Saffron and Elsa! Our own doggies had a fantastic well also. The hosts are so lovely and we always feel very welcome. The location is ideal for sight seeing around West Cork. Would highly recommend."

"This is a fabulous property in an exceptional location. It's really all about the view from the patio! The house is very comfortable and spacious with all the facilities you would need. "As a VRBO Host and an owner of a guest house I can sometimes have my expectations not met. I had the pleasure of staying for 3 weeks at the cottage. its well equipped with anything you might need for a relaxing holiday. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, fireplace, salon and a real working kitchen with most everything you need. close enough to the pub and food shop but far enough away to feel isolated. It a real Irish home with out the bells and whistles you might get at a more modern/commercial property....

"we had a nice holiday, quality price ratio was reasonable. the cottage is very poorly maintained and not clean. the owner is super friendly. Internet is via prepaid card with limited use costs her €50… each time she tops up. she had to do this twice, she was not very happy with it."

"So surprised at this place, did not expect as much as it had to offer, it was beautiful! Food was delicious, staff friendly, everything you’d expect from an Irish hotel. Breakfast was the best (apart from my sisters house) I’ve had on my whole three week trip, through various parts of the country. Pauline, my breakfast waitress was excellent, courteous, friendly and had a word for everyone she met. A treasure."
