"Junipine Resort was disappointing overall. Unfortunately, the unit we were assigned was completely filthy, old, and felt like it had not been updated or properly maintained in decades. The furniture was worn, the carpets had dark stains throughout, the stove had inches of dust on it, and there were broken lamps in the unit. For the amount they are charging, the condition of the accommodations was simply unacceptable.
The one thing this resort truly has going for it is the location. The scenery and views are absolutely beautiful and were the only thing that made the stay somewhat tolerable. Their customer service at the front desk was also very good. A couple of the employees were extremely kind and helpful, and the manager, Sean, was very nice and professional as well.
Overall, I would give this resort two stars, and the only reason it receives that is because of the scenery and customer service. Otherwise, the unit itself was very old, poorly cared for, and extremely unpleasant to stay in."
