At the last minute my flight was cancelled. Hotel GMS refused to refund ANY of my money. Yes, there was a cancellation policy, but there should be some leniency for circumstances beyond an individual’s control. I would understand if they needed to keep some of it, but they kept over $1,000. That is unethical.

PROS: the hotel is clean and comfortable and the room was a good size. It's close to the Yeongdeungpo train station, just a quick 5 minute walk. There's a variety of places to eat nearby from Korean, to American, to sushi and pho. There's plenty of shopping nearby a well with the Lotte and Shinsegae department stores and the Time Square Mall all less than a 10 minute walk away. The IFC mall is also a short taxi or train ride away. CON: check-in doesn't start until 5pm but the staff let us store our luggage while we wandered around so this wasn't a big deal for our stay.

New home in Seoul with perfect location
I booked a room just a day before the check-in and stayed 2 nights. I am really satisfied with the stay overall. Very good location - super close to subway, bus station, airport-limousine stop right across the street. Also close to the Korail train station. The area is surrounded with big shopping mall and department stores - cinema, shops and restaurants and bars. Convenience stores right next the hotel. The hotel is recently built, so it was clean. Offered necessary amenities. The room was spacious for a couple to stay. Overall satisfied. I am going to book again next March when I am in Seoul for sure.

Though the front desk staff is not good at English, they are helpful to address my request as I try to communicate with them in limited Korean and share them the pictures about the problem areas. It is due to the fact that my room was not in well condition as 1) the WiFi connection was out of order and 2) the wash basin was leaking after use at night. Unfortunately, all rooms were occupied during my 1st accommodation day, the hotel staff changed room at upper level for me when guest moving out in early next morning

Great Location
The hotel would not let you check in till 5pm which was hard as we were traveling. The location is great, so close to the train and the room was clean and new looking. The air conditioning blows right onto the bed, which makes it hard to sleep, at least for us.

Great hotel to stay
They didn't have the friendliest service but the room was spacious and clean. Looked a lot better than the photos. Bathroom was clean and amenities were good, but the water pressure was a bit low. They had a valet parking which was handy. The location was also really good, surrounded by restaurants and bars! We really enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel is extremely clean and the housekeeper cleaned our room very thoroughly and made sure all of our amenities were there for us. I loved the layout of the washroom.There is also a laundry room in case you need to clean your clothes. The soap is provided for you. The location of the hotel is extremely close to the subway (only a minute or 2 walk) and is surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cute shops. Overall, great location in the downtown area of Seoul My only complaint is that the hotel staff are overly strict with certain requests. For example, I booked the wrong room type and asked to be upgraded to another room type, but they charged me an extra 120 Canadian dollars for that. They also charged me more for a late checkout that I requested since my plane left early in the day. Overall, this hotel has to be one of the cleanest I have been in, along with the great location and amenities I will continue to stay here!

It was clean and comfy - exactly what I was looking for. The only downside is that it took awhile for them to retrieve our car from their parking service. Other than that, check in was quick, the room was clean, and the environment was great.

Amazing hotel! Check in and check out were easy and fast! Friendly staffs. Convenient location. Tons of food places around, 7-11 across the street in case you need anything. Amenities are all included. Room is beautiful with lots of space.

Good: There are a lot of food places just behind the hotel. Location is 200m walk from the subway station exit. airport limousine bus 6008 is just opposite. Very new hotel with 3 free bottled of water and 1 can of orange juice and 1 can of tea. Heating floor. remote controlling lights. Japanese toilet bowl. Very big bathtub. Bad: red light district just one street away. front office English is not good. check in time is very late 5pm.

overall is good
The staff is nice and friendly, but it's difficult to communicate as I don't know korean. It took 1 hr to complete the check in because they mixed up my name with another guest, however, our name is totally different. Moreover, there's no free shuttle bus service to airport, I think the hotel should correct this piece of information. I stayed for 6 nights, it's clean and comfortable, the hotel location is fantastic, it's close to Yeongdeungpo station, Lotte department store, times square and Yeongdeungpo shopping centre, many restaurants downstairs.

This hotel is very new and it is very beautiful. There is a cafe on the second floor that is just amazing. My room was very clean, very large and had its own computer and wifi. There was a bag full of things anyone could need, like toothbrushes, soap, shower caps and lotions, so there was no need to initially buy these things. Everything, and I mean everything, could be controlled by this touch screen controller by the bed. All the lights and the air conditioning could be adjusted by the touch of a button and that was very helpful. This area has so many choices of food and shopping so there was never a shortage of things to do. The staff that I had contact with were always nice and reacted very quickly to any questions or concerns I had. I read there was a shuttle to the airport but I chose not to take advantage of this. The TV in the room was huge and new. I liked that staff left three bottles of bottled water every morning, instead of the usual two. I really enjoyed this hotel and would like to stay here again.

The airport shuttle bus was advertised, but non-existent. The USB charger in the room didn't work. There was a desktop computer in the room, but the monitor didn't work. The WiFi in the room didn't work (but I could connect to the wifi for the room next door).

good rates for good location
it was my 2nd stay and i chose for its location opposite the subway station. With airport bus pick-up outside the hotel and line 1 subway, it is an all time convenient to stay there. The hotel is also in the centre of many good local restaurants. I will stay there again if I need to move about the Line 1.

Overall is quite ok. Few things to consider; Unable to access to WIFI at the lobby. Remote control all in Korean and it is difficult for a foreigner. Staffs are friendly but quite difficult to communicate since I don't know Korean language.

Great new hotel!
Didn't expect to find so many local restaurants right beside the hotel. Super convenient location. They have every amenity you need inside the room, including a PC that connects to the TV screen.

Convenient and Clean Hotel
Positive Location - 1. good selection of food. 2. near to airport bus and subway station. 3. close to Lottee Departmental Store and Emart. Staff - 1. The best staff at the reception area was Yoo Eun Jung. She was able to help me with most of my enquiries. She was very polite and always put on a smile. Negative Staff - Most of the staff were not very enthusiastic about their job. When asked about the bus schedule, they could not even give me the actual timing. I had to go to the bus stop to search for the information. I think they should be more proactive in providing the necessary information for the customers. Breakfast - very lousy selection and food. Temperature - felt very warm and stuffy in the room even after adjusting the temperature.

욕실 비치된 수건에서 쉰냄새가 났네요
전체적으로 깨끗하고 영등포역에서 도보로 이동하기 편했습니다. 다만.. 욕실 수건에서 쉰냄새가 나서 조금은 아쉬움이 남습니다. 누군가?? 사용한 수건인지? 말리는 과정에서의 냄새인지는 몰라도 직접적으로 맞닺는 용품에 대한 점검도 필요해 보이네요
