I recently stayed at the Shanghai Marriot for a business trip to China. My stay was extremely pleasant and I cannot find any fault with the accomodation, staff or food during my stay. I had a great breakfast every morning with lots of options and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and courteous to me. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

The property is new. There is a slight smell coming from the new interior decoration. It may not be notable to others but I am very sensitive to such smells. Also, blood stain was spotted near the toilet, totally unacceptable.

The kitchen of this hotel is so poorly run! First day, club sandwich took 45 minutes to make, fries came out cold to the touch. Second day, ordered oatmeal from the menu, out of oatmeal. Third day, ordered hummus from the menu, out of hummus. Fourth day, go to brunch. All dishes severely picked over or out. Air conditioning blowing so hard over the egg buffet station, gross! Four chefs in the middle of the kitchen chatting and looking at WeChat like they have nothing else to do during brunch at 10 am on a Sunday. Management and service people need to be retrained, or hotel should lose its franchise. Worst Marriott I have ever stayed at.

The room, the price is quite good. However what is lacking is the staff. First, during check in. The attendant cannot find my booking name and was trying to get me to find the booking number. She was also being quite rude to me. It turns out that she misspelt my name. Check out was okay. However, there was no staff at the bell counter to call for the taxi. There was only 1 receptionist so I had to wait for a long time to call for the taxi.

Super hotel, great service/rooms, boring location
The hotel is about one year old and you can tell. It's in a fabulous state, the towels are still incredibly fluffy. Bedrooms are so well designed for guests. The bed is comfortable, there are couches, electric curtains, good lighting, great electric sockets, all with USBs, but the highlight the bathroom. The bathtub is the best I've ever seen, with a tap that moves to ensure space in the bath. There's a bath rack, to balance your book/iPad on and great toiletries. The location, is less exciting, it's in the middle of nowhere, you can't even walk to a convenience shop. The buffet and Italian restaurants are good, but busy and very noisy. I used the executive lounge, not the most beautiful environment, brightly lit and characterless, but good food and drinks. Staff throughout were incredibly service orientated and great!

Luxury and Comfort in one place!
Comfortable and spacious, the room was well equipped with everything you want. Premium bedding and xite toiletries rounded out the perfect room. The wifi was always reliable and strong and there was a 24 hour gym for your pleasure... Not to mention a great pool. Staff were friendly although the dinner buffet ended very early and the a la carte menu is not worth it. The area was not high interest or high traffic but accessible enough to make it worthwhile.

Great Hotel
Great hotel, but nothing in the local area. Food in the Executive lounge was good, but not much variety. Gym was good, pool looked great.

Was amazing stay. Wanted a slight better cleaning for the room such as the bath tub but still great experience it was. There were shuttles to and from Disneyland which made our trip nicer:) Definitely will come back next time.

The hotel information staff were friendly and helpful. He gave us detailed information on recommended sightseeing spots in Shanghai. Even after checking out, we were treated with courtesy and follow-up until we left the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. I wasn't able to take the shuttle bus to Disneyland, but you can easily get there by taxi. This hotel is convenient for going to Disneyland. It is far away to explore the city of Shanghai. thank you very much.

중국 출장은 메리어트 호텔을 사용합니다. 천진에 비해 직원이 친절하지 않았으며, 화장실과 룸이 분리되지 않아이 분리되지 않아 당황스러웠습니다. 근처에 상해 디즈니가 가깝다는 것외에 식당,편의점과 같이 편의시설이 전혀 없어 불편했습니다. 다음 상해 출장은 이 위치의 메이러트는아닌듯 합니다.
