WONDERFUL!!!
Cottage is beautifully decorated, CLEAN, and the owner was EXTREMELY easy to communicate with. Have already recommended it to to other friends and family members. Hope to be able come back soon. SO RELAXING!! LOVED IT!!!

The place and lake was beautiful!! Spent most of the day on the patio enjoying the view The place had everything we needed and the host was available for any questions we had! All of us would definitely stay again . You won't regret it!!

Amazing Stay
My aunt and I stayed here for a couple days for a relaxing getaway. Such a cute cottage! We loved the nice windows looking out to the lake. Everything was clean, check in and check out were simple, and everything was as advertised in the listing. Sara was very easy to communicate with prior to and during our stay. We absolutely loved it and would definitely consider staying again!!

Cozy Getaway
We had a terrific trip. The property looks smaller from the outside but is spacious and comfortable on the inside. Cute rustic decor. Clean and welcoming. The property owner was easy to communicate with, and came to our rescue when we were unfortunately locked out. We were only 14 minutes from downtown Shipshewana for shopping and Amish people sighting. We stayed in the winter but would love to return to enjoy the lake and to fish or kayak in the Summer months. We recommend this property.

Cozy with Stunning Views
The Cozy Cottage was just what our family needed for our Thanksgiving trip back home! The views were stunning and the location was perfect for our Middlebury and Elkhart visits. The cottage owners thought of everything: a well-stocked kitchen, extra blankets, coffee bar items, and snacks. They made the check-in process seamless and checked on us throughout our stay.

We really enjoyed staying in this Lake Cottage. It was roomy and very functional. Right on the water with a large concrete pad that was half in the shade by 5pm which was perfect for a picnic on an 80 degree day

One of the cleanest places we’ve stayed at through VRBO. Communication with host was perfect, house instructions explained clearly and easily found on refrigerator. Literally no complaints!

Cottage on the lake.
We loved it! The only drawback was the ladder to the upstairs instead of a staircase. I just missed that part of the description! The beds were very comfortable. The patio and fire pit were fabulous. Highly recommended.

Peaceful stay on Fish lake
We all loved the property. It is very unique. I love the big windows in this home. We all enjoyed the kyacks and the lake is so quite. The host was very prompt to responding and great to work with. We are excited to book this home again

Quiet, Adorable Cottage!

Return to the homeland
This was a family trip-we brought our parents back to the area we once called home. This lakeside cottage was the perfect setting to visit with our Indiana family and enjoy some real Memphis barbeque(courtesy of my brother and his Tennesse smoker). The patio was the most inviting place to sit around a fire and listen to memories of skipping school and swimming in the lake. The cottage was comfortable and well appointed. Great memories were made.

Enjoyed every minute.
We stayed in early October, and the leaves changing around the lake were gorgeous. Just a short drive to Shipeshewana and Middlebury, and I highly recommend both. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for my family of five. Quick communication with the host. We want to come back and stay here in the summer to enjoy the lake even more. Cute and super clean lake house
This is a wonderful lake house. The house was decorated with sweet antiques and vintage things. It was super comfortable and cozy and very clean. We brought my dad along and he really appreciated the recliner. No stairs also made the stay easier for him. The lake is right outside the back slider doors. The beds were comfy. The beach house was conveniently located, we spent time in Shipshawana.

Best Family Vacation
We loved our week long stay at this property. There was so much to do in the area. The house was very nice, clean, and simple which is exactly what we were looking for in our vacation. We really enjoyed being able to swim, fish, and enjoy the fire pit every day right outside the door! Great folks around the house and such a nice clean neighborhood! Loved our stay here for a weekend getaway. Sara was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our trip. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and decorated so nicely. We loved being able to use the kayaks on the lake!

As Descrbed and Even Better!
The Cozy Little House is a gem on Fish Lake. Property was better than advertised. Shabby chic abounds and lends such a cozy, comfortable vibe. The Queen bed was comfy. The house is stocked with all that you could need for your stay including washer, dryer and detergent. The back of the cottage is all windows that affords a great view of the lake. Herons, flocks of Swans and Canadian Geese with their babies, and bunnies hopping around afford to our enjoyment. There is a fire pit on the patio but we did not use it. Even though we were there over the Memorial Day Holiday it was a peaceful and restful retreat just what we needed after a hectic 10 days of traveling. Sara, the property manager was a delight to work with and even checked in with us to make sure everything was going okay. We were a little reluctant to book this property as it only had one review at the time, so we purchased the VRBO Insurance. What a waste of $80.00.! Property is just as described!!! You will NOT be disappointed!

We have a relaxing time at this adorable lake house. The view of the lake through a wall of windows was beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we were glad to discover that we could access apps on the smart tv. The bathroom is cozy but clean. We would definitely enjoy another stay. Thank you!!
