Six Mile Bottom 2024 Holidays

Good spot for site seeing. Small rooms but adequate for a City break. Very friendly staff and breakfast very good choices available.

We've stayed at this same hotel for over 40 years. The amenities are sufficient, however, feel that the staff ie. breakfast/cleaning crew felt like they were rushed and sometimes communication was difficult. Is it possible they are trying to do too much? Clean the rooms and take care of breakfast? I feel like more staffing would help. The check-in also was not an easy process.

Needed friendlier staff at breakfast time.

Good hotel, very convenient location - short walk to Hyde Park or to Paddington subway, which has almost all tube lines. No air conditioning, but the window opened and was effective in cooling the room during May visit. Good breakfast included with the room. Had coffee and boiler and milk in the room. Many restaurants nearby. Room was small but adequate. Had a desk, chair and closet and towel electric drying rack. Paid for single bed but they upgraded me to a double with a very comfortable, firm mattress. Only negative was that I found the coffee in the modern coffee choosing machine at breakfast to be not as good as the instant coffee in the room. They offered tea as well. Breakfast had a choice of fruit and cereal self service and eggs or English breakfast (beans, eggs, bacon sausage - or in my case eggs and hash brown potato). I was able to leave my bags in the lobby for a few hours after checkout. All in all a great place to stay. Seemed a safe neighborhood and they lock the door at night, but open for guests with 24 hour receptionist.

We had a great stay. Service at hotel was terrific.
