"When I arrived at the reception it was closed and there was a telephone number to call and in a few minutes a man opened the door and showed me to my room. The bedroom is nice, very comfortable and the bathroom is wheelchair accessible, so the washbasin is lower than usual. The only problem I had with the bathroom was that the water from the shower did not drain away and the drain was blocked. The shower is not decent, it does not have good pressure to take a shower. The room was a bit dusty...

"Was like a delightful step back in time. Peaceful! Loved the countryside. Local cows became friends. Learned about using turf in stove. We loved it! Very easy to start! Stephanie was wonderful and made some reservations for us as well as providing turf for our first night when stores were closed. Lovely village!"
